Btw moniker, I had K10 in that hand you had AQ . I was gonna fire again because I had figured you had 98 (straight draw) or some weak holding since you just flatted pre. But the other guy in the hand decided to bet turn after checkcalling the flop. I was considering going over the top of him, but i think that would have been a little reckless. After seeing him table A5, it reminds me why i love 1/2

I actually heard that this tournament was born from a cut-n-paste error. PBKC had its Palm Beach Classic last month which included a PLO tourney. It was a $120 buy-in with 10k chips and a nice structure. I think it had about 70 players, which was a bit disappointing, but it was on a Tuesday afternoon, and was the first one they had ever had there. I heard when they remade the September sked, they forgot to change the game from PLO to holdem for their usual Friday tourney. But they decided to leave it as is, since it was already published. Don't know if that's true, just what I heard. There's no guarentee that I'm aware of, and I doubt they'd have more players than the PLO tourney from last month, but can't be sure on that one.

i will be in west palm. in Dec/Jan for christmas (24th-5th) and i was wondering if there is any kind of tourney series going on at this time? or if there r any good daily tourneys? what cash games regularly go? and what r the buy ins?

I've heard they're working on something special for December, but don't know exactly what or when. Tournament Director (Alan) may be able to give you more details. You can call the poker room and ask for him. You'll find the normal tourney sked on the PBKC website. The Friday, Saturday and Sunday tourneys are quite good. For cash games, there's several 1-2 NL, a few 2-5 and 5-10 NL. I think its a $200 max buyin for 1-2 and $500 max for 2-5. It varies for the 5-10 depending upon the table. Have a good one.

Thinking of coming down for wsop circuit event was wondering how far is palm beach kennel club from, Fort Lauderdale airport, and do any near buy hotels run shuttles to the race track ?

The circuit is really far away, but during the last WSOP they ran shuttles from hotels they had partnerships with. You can google map it from FLL, but if you want to fly closer, the WPB Airport is literally right next to the track.

Alright thank you for the information, and thinking of booking my flight soon doesn't seem like there are too many flights from Philadelphia to wpb airport during that time.
