I feel like all the good of removing tables and playing 7 handed is negated by having dozens of people crowding around the podium waiting for a seat. This is when it would be awesome if Bravo actually updated their system where you could get a text message or something when your seat is ready.

Found out ginger has a sat/sun restaurant week lunch special of$22. Doesn't include dessert.
And different entrees but seem to be the same price range as the $35 dinner special options.
This seems like a much better value.
Unfortunately you have to wait till next year since restaurant week is over.

Honeys wings are decent considering it's a casino. Other than that just get a chicken Caesar salad.... the food is not very good anywhere IMO

Going to spend a few days here in a month or so. How have the 1/3 and 2/5 games been? How many handed? Plexiglass? Masks?

7-handed max.
Plexiglass.
Masks are required at all times.

A player putting a blind raise out (on the button, or in the cutoff, or any position really) before the cards are dealt is never going to be discouraged from doing so, nor should they be.

In Bravo, it says:
Quote:
FRIDAYS
$200 30-MINUTE HIGH HANDS
1215AM-915AM

$500 LUCKY TABLES (EVERY HOUR)
915AM-1015AM, 1215PM-115PM, 315PM-415PM, 615PM-715PM

$300 LUCKY TABLES (EVERY HOUR)
1015AM-1215PM, 115PM-315PM, 415PM-615PM
Why does the lucky table promo say EVERY HOUR when the promotion is for seven hours of the ten hour period (9:15 am to 7:15 pm)?

The $300 ones are 2 hour blocks. It adds up to 10 hours.

To me, EVERY HOUR implies that, if there are 10 hours, there are 10 jackpots, which is not true.

Going by what you are saying, they could give one jackpot in a 10 hour period, and they could still say EVERY HOUR.

It IS every hour. There are 2 in those 2 hour blocks. This seems really obvious.

Look at the Sunday $200 30 min promo. They are listed in 3.5 hr blocks. How can you think there are NOT 7 jackpots during that period?

Is this where we find out that straddles and blind raises make the game nitty because rec players will always correctly fold their blinds?

They don't think girls walking around rubbing on strangers backs during a world wide pandemic would look good for their "safe" image.

No one is arguing to get rid of blind raises or straddles. The only issue is when the btn is allowed to straddle AND the blinds have to act first. This only makes the game better when all three are clueless. Unless you’re going to selectively allow it only when this is the case then having the rule makes the game net worse. The fact that you keep arguing this makes it appear like you’ve never played in a game over 2/5 with multiple good opponents.

There have been multiple advances in game structure over the years to get addition money in blind without crushing the blinds. Maybe try coming up with a creative solution as this is your full time job. 3 blinds and/or btn/Bb antes are a good place to start.

Game selection? Not sure why I would choose to play in a 5/10 or higher with multiple “good” opponents?

Most of the posters on here treat poker as if it’s their FT job too. Offer a suggestion. Keep in mind that anything you do to get more dead money in the pot will also discourage players from living up to that limit.

I am open to try anything as long as it does t devolve into a never ending game of “change blinds and limits to isolate a sucker.” That’s what always seems to happen when we play both 2 and 3 blind games, as well as “mandatory” straddles.

Oh. We have this gaming regulator thing too. Sometimes it’s not so easy to just change rules or add blinds. Just sayin’....

i dont know if this is possible but a game where the button is allowed to straddle then the action starts at UTG skips over the straddle with sb and bb acting finishing with the button would be pretty sweet
