Is there going to be anymore tournaments in the horizon? Or Is it not feasible under the current circumstances?

Probably a shootout. Which sounds like a great idea. Hopefully management agrees.

They do run 6 Max events from time to time.

This would be like 7 max. I don't see why it would be any different.

I am assuming they might need to get the glass upstairs so they can run the events.

Regular tournaments have people frequently changing tables to rebalance as people bust. With cash game only permitting 1 table change in an 8 hour period, my guess is they are trying to minimize movement.

True.

Love to hear Mike's response on the same.

Is this an acceptable solution:

Tournament table changes will only occur when the tournament players remaining is reduced by 7. In other words, a table is broken.

Unless there are 4 players are below, rebalancing will not be initiated.

Since the process of the cleaning the area takes time waiting till 7 players bust out might help with the time required.

Also, say 10 tables are assigned for a tournament and only 7 are occupied, can't the other 3 be used for table breaks. This way you will get some time for the cleaning process to be completed.

I know a certain amount of the buy-in is deducted for tournament promotions and managing the lay overs. Can we agree a dollar from each buy-in is deducted for COVID cleaning fee, so, we have dedicated staff for the cleaning process?

Mike,

can you reduce the jackpot drop to $1 since there's no promos right now?
or do you plan on having a BIG promotion when poker is fully open again?

Just wanted to give a shout-out to whoever permitted the button straddle in the 5/10 last night. After some back and forth between different floor people, we finally got approval! Thanks; everyone was happy about this result, especially the players straddling. Hope this policy continues.

Nothing better than forcing the blinds to fold more and incentivizing the btn to play more. Should help keep the 7 handed games going

Button straddle is absolutely terrible for the game. Puts the blinds at an even bigger disadvantage than usual and also increases the button's edge. Usually tightens games up considerably (I realize that may have not been the result last night).

Yes it was good for the game this time.

Also whoever thought up the sit n go’s is a genius. They are worth the entertainment value alone.

Is the upstairs room still closed?

Maybe they can put the sit n go tourneys up there if it's open.

Looking at the wait lists on Bravo it seems very busy!

Button straddle is terrible and should be removed immediately.

Can we get 5-10 going today? There are 15 names on the interest list but no tables available because of the SNGs. This seems like poor planning since it would be the biggest game in the room.

Can anything be done? Break a smaller game perhaps?
