Since it's 7 handed, can you make it bathroom breaks only? Leaving chips to stroll around or go on an extended food break will greatly affect these games in a negative way.

If you wouldn't mind asking the higher ups at some point, I'd be very curious to know what their determining factors will be to lift the requirement and/or an expected timeline, if any. Thanks for the info.

I made a reservation for Saturday and it went through but I didn't get a confirmation email. Lame!

The reservation system seems weird to me. I’m not trying to ***** about it too much, just hear me out.

1. You sign up for 3 hour time slots
2. You are allowed to sign up for multiple 3 hour time slots
3. It’s a general registration for the casino, not specifically for poker

What’s stopping anyway from staying longer then their time slot. My guess is nothing, you most likely can stay for as long as you like. It’s not like they will roam around checking your registration papers after you get inside.

I have the whole feeling it’s just to legally protect the casino, and to lightly help control/mitigate lines forming outside.

I hope poker players will be patient! There are going to be some issues and long waiting lines in poker room. The added confusion, low seat count only 175 (25*7) players can be seated at once, high demand, players staying all day, etc. I hope they plan on waiting areas so those waiting can spread out a bit.

This might be crazier then opening day as far as confusion goes. For those going be patient and let up on the staff!

got this email:

As a valued Platinum card member, we are excited to welcome you and a guest back for a VIP exclusive weekend on June 20 & 21, followed by an exclusive members-only week through Sunday, June 28 for our loyal Live! Rewards® Members.

but from what ive read here, Gold was also invited this weekend???

looks like anyone with a rewards card (even red) can go during the soft re-opening next week 6/22-6/28.

also, only 2 restuarants open
✔ Luk Fu
✔ Orchid Kitchen
✖ Morty's Delicatessen
✖ ¡En Vivo!
✖ The Cheesecake Factory
✖ Bobby’s Burger Palace
✖ Self-Serve Machines

what/where is orchid kitchen?

I think the time slot you sign up for is just arrival time (ie arrive in that slot). I don’t think you have to leave by the end of the period (doubt they are going to be pulling people off a blackjack table or slot machine).

I'm Gold. There's all openings on Sat and Sun. I'm not going as I'll wait to see how it goes. But here's some not-so-fine print at the end of the reservation process:

FURTHER, BY CHECKING THIS BOX YOU AGREE TO RELEASE, FOREVER DISCHARGE, DEFEND, AND HOLD HARMLESS LIVE CASINO & HOTEL, ITS PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES, AND OTHER AFFILIATES, AND EACH OF THEIR MEMBERS, OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS (“RELEASEES”) FROM AND AGAINST ALL CLAIMS THAT YOU OR ANY MEMBER OF YOUR PARTY MAY HAVE THAT RELATE IN ANY WAY TO EXPOSURE TO THE VIRUS THAT CAUSES COVID-19, INCLUDING ANY CLAIMS BASED ON ANY NEGLIGENCE OR FAULT OF ANY RELEASEE.

edit: there's actually more fine print. They really want you to know you waive everything.
By clicking 'Complete Reservation' above you hereby indemnify and hold harmless PPE Casino Resorts Maryland, LLC, its partners, officers, directors, employees, independent contractors, agents, affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, divisions, predecessors, assigns, representatives, successors and successors in interest, (each a "Releasee" and collectively referred to as "Releasees") from any and all claims, actions, causes of action, torts, damages of any kind, demands, debts, obligations, contracts, promises, judgments, expenses, costs, attorneys' fees, compensation, and liabilities, (collectively Claim, Damage, Loss or Expense ) known or unknown, whatsoever which I may now have or may have in the future, whether the same be at law, in equity, or mixed, in any way arising from or relating to any use of the building/premises, sustained by any person or persons, including myself, provided that any such Claim, Damage, Loss or Expense is attributable to bodily injury, sickness, disease or death, including but not limited to the failure of Live! Casino Hotel to reasonably screen, monitor and detect its employees, contractors, guests or agents for Covid-19 virus, and/or to injury to or destruction of property caused by the tortious act or negligent act or omission of PPE Casino Resorts Maryland, LLC and all Releasees.

I’m brand new Gold and would be there in sec. But I’ll be waiting several weeks and seeing what happens and how the numbers look. If folks here go throughout the next few weeks, post here about how crowded it is, playing behind plexiglass, cleanliness, and what the table games and slots are like.

I’ll be watching the poker bravo numbers from home. I expect long waits for a seat.

I think you’ll have to reserve, in advance, online for a while.

I am wondering how playing behind plexiglass and with masks (not discounting the fact that you have to wear a mask) will affect the verbal actions in the game. Seems like it's going to be primed for a lot of controversies.

In front of too. Zoom in. You’ll see a teller cutout at bottom for cards and chips about 6 inches high and 12 inches long.

The reservations are to get into casino, not to reserve a poker seat. I’m guessing 100+ waiting list at 7pm tonight. Just a guess. We’ll see.

What do we do if we pre-registered, got a confirmation of reservation page on the site, but did not get an email? I'm Gold card but my card expired in February.

Just don't want to make the long drive for nothing. My time slot is today, noon - 3pm.

At 42 minutes before your slot starts, I suggest showing up and hoping for the best.

OK just reserved for Sunday too and got this message:

Reserve a Visit
Thank you for reserving a time. You will receive an email confirmation shortly. If you do not receive an email, please go to the customer service booth on arrival. See you soon!

Sounds like if no email, customer service will (hopefully) take care of you.

Is it a pain to play with all the plexiglass dividers? I imagine it makes it difficult to see stack sizes.

It feels weird. They didn't do a good job placing the dividers. Seats 1,2,6 & 7 have tons of space. 3,4&5 are extremely cramped.

These are temporary. We're having them redone, as the originals were breaking so something had to be rigged up for today. Should have the proper ones in Wednesday-Thursday

Thanks
