Anyone know when they are giving away the next $500 of the streak bonus? And whens the 3rd installment supposed to be for those of us that qualify?

I know it's a state law but what are you doing to get it changed because the player pool is dwindling as a result, especially in the bigger games (why do you think 10/10 plo hardly ever runs anymore?) thanks for any update.
It appears it will be on the June agenda for the Commission. Maybe we'll know something soon.

Thanks

Does this room have the overall best dealers of any room you've been in or is it just my imagination? Some are a bit friendlier than others, some a bit faster than others and some cuter than others but I can't think of one that I don't want to see coming to my table.

I don't know of any but I would be interested in joining one. If you find one or if you want to talk, let me know.

Perhaps an odd question. There are days when I'm working from home (Bethesda) and want to play some pokers after work. But at 6 the drive from Bethesda to MDL is an hour +.

Is there any spot nearby MDL (maybe in the mall or close by) that I could drive to say at lunch time and work for 4 or 5 hours? You can typically get away with this kind of thing at a library or starbucks. I don't want to sit in the poker room with my laptop. I would need to actually work but can schedule it on days where I don't need to be on conference calls or anything.

Anyone tried something like this?

I have, and I suggest either the Starbucks up Arundel Mills next to 295 in the "preserve" or Bagels N Grinds across the street. Both have enough seating where you should be fine for the afternoon.

Just do your work in the poker room while playing. I do it a least once a month, tough part is when you have conference calls.....

Also a Panera Bread in the Safeway shopping center. I've often seen people or groups in there working.

Looking for a hotel within 15 min or so of the casino. Anyone know one that would be 1200/month or less and isn't a complete dump?

Not a great option if you're paranoid that your employer will see that you are connected from a casino.

Sounds like you need to pony up for a reliable internet connection of your own if that's the case.
