Mike - please provide an update on the running it twice rule. In the big games we are talking about massive amounts of money being affected by this rule, and it's the only place I've ever played in the country where 30k pots are forced to be decided by a single run out. I know it's a state law but what are you doing to get it changed because the player pool is dwindling as a result, especially in the bigger games (why do you think 10/10 plo hardly ever runs anymore?) thanks for any update.

It appears it will be on the June agenda for the Commission. Maybe we'll know something soon.

Does this room have the overall best dealers of any room you've been in or is it just my imagination? Some are a bit friendlier than others, some a bit faster than others and some cuter than others but I can't think of one that I don't want to see coming to my table.

Perhaps an odd question. There are days when I'm working from home (Bethesda) and want to play some pokers after work. But at 6 the drive from Bethesda to MDL is an hour +.

Is there any spot nearby MDL (maybe in the mall or close by) that I could drive to say at lunch time and work for 4 or 5 hours? You can typically get away with this kind of thing at a library or starbucks. I don't want to sit in the poker room with my laptop. I would need to actually work but can schedule it on days where I don't need to be on conference calls or anything.

Anyone tried something like this?
