“Not nearly enough security or bar staff”

<irrelevant stuff>
We were playing on an old favourite that our local casino doesn’t have any more, the machine we chose was about 4-5 meters away from the entrance to the nightclub (this was not separated at all, no doors and no staff between the two.
After about 10 minutes on the machine, an almightily fight broke out on in the nightclub (right on the threshold), which inevitably spilled out into the casino (causing us and many other people to flee from our machines). I kid you not, I have never seen a fight like it, there were about 10 people involved, bottle and glasses were thrown and one woman even took her belt off and starting attacking people with the buckle end.
This went on for AT LEAST 3-4 minutes before any security arrived. And even then, it was 2 men who then got set on themselves, after another few minutes, more staff arrived and the fight was moved out of the casino.
This place is in desperate need of more security staff and they need to stand between the casino and the nightclub (or section it off with doors), we were allowed in without identification or bag checks.
We won’t be visiting again, which a MASSIVE disappointment as we were so is looking forward to visiting, we travelled all the way from Nottingham just for the Casino. The fight incident soured the whole evening for us, we didn’t go to a nightclub, we went to a casino and expected to have a fun evening gambling with a few drinks. Never again

Cliffs? Aspers is ****, don't go there.
Also, why the **** would you go all the way from Nottingham just to go to Aspers? There are much better places in London AND I've been to Gala Nottingham several times, there's nothing wrong with it, it's great. As is Circus and Alea. Save yourself the money and journey, you have three decent casinos in Nottingham (and DTD), be grateful.
