Majestic Star is still an option. Not what it once was as a poker room but you can see where the extra dollar is going. The jackpot is over $50,000 and with less tables your chances of winning are improved. Friday and Saturday they have 10 to 12 tables of 3/6L,1/2NL, and Omaha and Hose. Also single table sit & go’s and a Deep Stack Poker Challenge in October.. It is the only other legal choice(with some variety) for Chicago area players right now.
Resorts has stud games. I wasted some time there.
Aurora has a $6 rake and no promos!!! They have 6 tables and usually a long wait for a game if you don’t get there early. They have 10/20 and 5/10 limit. Hard to go there a lot from Chicago area also.
Joliet 3 tables.
Other than house games and charity games, we don’t have much choice. Illinois legislators have to get their act together and change the 1200 gaming positions law.:
