Anyone have any input on the Tournament schedule that was released? I believe they start March 4th? If someone could post the schedule / structure / payouts it'd be greatly appreciated.

or direct me where to find this info on the forum??

1/2 nl is fun and usually a lot of action. 2/5 nl can be hit or miss. I haven't seen a bad PLO game yet.

On the upcoming tournaments, specifically on the first day, the reg is like 2 hours before, and capped at 100. Just opinions, but how early do you think you need to get there for the 10am?

I think you'll be fine if you get there at 9 am. But now that I've made it public, better make it 8:45.

They haven't been able to use chips/cheques for over 3 months in Cleveland. Was only a matter of time till they enforced this in Columbus.

Jesus this is dumb. Who's going to keep a roll of singles to tip the waitresses? They're gonna lose half their income, easily. Anyone know if this is just a Columbus thing or did it come from the OCCC?

In Cleveland you can still tip with chips. You just can't purchase alcohol with chips...alcohol must be purchased with cash.

It is an OCCC regulation.

Huh? No way this is right. I was in yesterday and didn't hear about it. If true it would severely hurt waitress's bottom line.

It went down mid-day yesterday. Guy at the table said in the morning, you could, by evening, you couldn't.

I had heard this before the casinos opened, so I was surprised when they allowed alcoholic beverages to be purchased with chips.

I heard it came from Dept. of Liquor Control (probably in conjunction with OCCC).

It's funny. I live literally 10 minutes west of this casino (on the edge of West Jefferson) and have never been. Thinking of hitting it up tonight. Any ideas how long the waitlists typically would be for a friday night?

I just left the casino about an hour ago and it seems like the rule has evolved to being able to tip with chips, but not being able to buy drinks with chips. Still pretty dumb, it will probably lead to fewer sales either way, which means fewer drunk players...

They just added 6 tables for a total of 36, so I would think it won't be too bad. You can call ahead to get on the wait list, as long as you check in within an hour. If you call 30 mins or so before you plan on getting there I'd be surprised if you had to wait now that they have more tables.

By the way everyone, the new in-room cage is now up and running with two windows. The podium will be devoted to taking names / seating players.
