I played for 5 hours and I have a single one of those "miserable dealers" that you typically get every few downs in AC. Also, there were a fair amount of games going on, especially for a Thursday. Was definitely busier than all of Harrahs AC rooms. And free parking for everyone. Thumbs up as well. And apparently you get a free buffet if you play 4+ hrs of 1/2 or 2+ hrs of 2/5. I didn't take them up on the offer but another player told me that deal was good every day? Very nice as well. 2 minor complaints though.... my tier credits/reward credits haven't shown up yet, not sure how long it typically takes there though.... and
WHY ISN'T ALCOHOL FREE?? $3+$1 for a bud... $4+$1 for a yuengling??? I didn't even ask how much mixed drinks were...
Still even with that, they have definitely won me over. Half the drive time, more games, happier staff. I only wish I would have checked them out earlier...
I hadn't been to the room for a couple months after playing alot of hours there July through October. The room expansion definitely helped with table spacing and the replacement of the cupholderless tables with ones with cup holders are a welcome addition.
I agree the dealers are generally pretty friendly. Paying for beers at 1/2 does suck. Ask the waitress if there are beer specials... Usually it's a $3 bottle but the other day (Wed?) it was $2 pints of Yuengling which wasn't so bad. I keep forgetting to take advantage of the Buffet.
Points usually show up a day or two later depending on when you clocked out.
