Just went out the tourney myself. There are around 130ish left. Average players I played against were pretty bad.

The turnout for it was around 900. They were expecting around 450 so they ran out of tables.

First place is going to get around 55k.

There are not any. The only other tournaments currently going on are the 7:00 daily and the Non-Ring Omaha event.

Omaha tournament surpised me at around 180 players I think, and that is the non ring one. I am going to guess 300 players for the ring one tomorrow.

If you register about an hour before the tourney starts you should be fine and get right in.

If you end up as an alternate you will be in a line and when somebody gets knocked out you sit in. They will not turn you away no matter what. If you want to play you will play.

Yes, you will be fine. Earlier the better if you do not want to be an alternate.

I do not think I saw any limit running in the poker room. No games running at the moment in the event center

Not yet. The dealer at my table said they might start soon. Mostly 2/5 and maybe 5/10 nlh and a 2/5 PL Omaha.

They are running 2/5 No Limit Holdem, 2/5 PLO , 5/10 No Limit Holdem and a few 125$ SNGs in the event room.
1/2 NL Holdem in poker room on poker pro tables only, No live cards or chips 10% rake max 5$ 53 man waitlist
Five tables in rear of poker room dealing 2/5 live cards and chips 7$ max rake. 70 man wait list
One pokerpro table dedicated to 50$ sng and One dedicated to 75$ sng only.
It is slam packed and weekends here is even more insane, this is the tip of the iceberg.
Overheard poker room Manager telling his staff "I know I told you could have off this weekend but cancel all your plans until monday"

Well they did think there would be around 400-450 at this event.. and there was double that.

I am sure he wasn't telling that to the entire staff. The poker room has only a certain number of tables, and they probably planned on them being full, but apparently WSOP-C is short of staff (not just dealers) so they have issued all hands on deck order.

It was confusing when I first got there but after I figured out what was going on it was too bad. I got in at 9pm and played about 4 hours in the event center. The cage is really slowing down the process. I would suggest going to another cage and just getting blacks or greens instead of waiting in line at the poker cage. The chip runners could hardly keep up with the fills. I didn't see them getting any players chips.

See you in event 3 then right? I've never been in a live 300+ player plo before.

Anyone know if the 2/5 plo8 was with the PokerPro tables or live dealers? Due to the game I would assume PokerPro tables, but I remember reading that the 2/5 and above games would use live dealers.

I think there was only one 2/5 plo8, and it was in the event center. So it was live. The 2/5 PLO is live also in the main poker room and there was one in the event center.

Sort of. But if there were empty PokerPro tables and people wanted to play 2/5 NLHE, and all the live dealer tables were full, then they probably would start a 2/5 PokerPro table. But I am not saying that will happen.

Man this place is nuts right now. 4-6 hour wait for live 2/5, list about 70 deep for poker pro 1/2nl and 30 deep for 1/2 poker pro PLO.
