Yes there's servers.

Yes it's free. And it's customary to tip. $1 a drink is expected.

Yes and yes. Although they're pretty short staffed right now and the poker room servers are also on the hook for the rainmaker slots at the moment.

Was able to book free Tue&Wed at Great Cedar in Early October. I'm not sure when they will first open up or if FT is opening all week as well. Has anyone heard anything official, I'm partially concerned it was an error because they don't seem to be open in November.

So tournament ends at the end of level 17? (4:10 start, 6:40 level 6 break, 6:50 level 7 start, 9:20 level 12 break, 9:30 level 13 start, level 17 ends at 12:35.)

Let's say 100 entries (including reentries) x 30,000 chips = 3,000,000 chips

Level 17 is 15k/30k. That's 100bbs on the table at the gun.

140 entries and it's 140bbs at the gun.

Seems impossible to play to a winner so let's hope there's an action clock or a really diligent tournament host starting around midnight.

Probably need to put out a specific rule on what the "equity chop" is (which publicly available calculator) as I could see disputes over how the math is done.

So is there an actual justification for cutting it off at that time? At that point, you have far less people in the tournament, less people in the room in general, if anything it's much safer conditions than what they were doing at prime time.

And yeah if they're doing that, they better have a strict action clock

I expect that almost all the time, a chop will be agreed to before the 12:45 deadline arrives.

What’s the best way to get from new haven, ct to Foxwoods? Amtrak train to new london and then an Uber/cab from the station to the casino? Is there anything more direct? Thanks!

Pre Covid you could there were daily bus trips that would give you value back in food coupons and gaming credits. I'd imagine they will eventually start up again if they haven't yet already.

yeah ride-share is best IMO, I have taken the grayhound (pre-covid) and unless you are really strapped for dough the ride-share option will save you the hassle.

I'm also from New Haven. The train to bus to casino is the best option considering time/money, though maybe we could share a ride-share up sometimes to be baller.

Does anyone know if the Greyhound is running from Boston to Foxwoods? Both the Foxwoods and Mohegan websites link to the Greyhound homepage, but I can't find anything relevant from there. (I have been waiting to speak to a phone representative, but posting here might be faster.)

Update: The service is not running right now.

Couldn't tell ya! I thought I'd see if they are even running before investing any further research. It would be my first time.

That sucks to know though. We take coach buses in other directions, and they keep schedules as tight as the trains.
