One thing to consider is the fact that there will only be three $2200 ACT 3's...one on 11/3 and two on 11/4. The $1100 ACT 3's will be running daily until 11/2.

I've thought about that. Not sure I can even make it to any of those games due to work (whose bright idea was it to have just 3 anyway?). So, single table or 1100 super...

What I'm most worried about is the blinds. Both games begin at 5000 with 20 minute blinds, which ain't much room to work with. The single will be short-handed most of the time, so the orbits are quicker and blinds eat the stacks faster. On the other hand, the super lasts longer, meaning you face larger blinds in the late stages.

So the question is, which will hurt less?

Last October I satted into the Main Event, although it looks like the more value is in the super's..the single table Act 2's are pretty soft. I like playing the super's as well if they get 40-50 runners. I played a Final Act 3 Super for the 2200 seat for 250 and their were 22 runners and they gave away two seats to the 2200. The act 3 supers get more of a crowd and with only the 1100 seat you get double the seats from the super into the Act 3.

She mucks KK face up, he shows 7h2h. Table erupts with laughter, she takes a 20 minute walk to calm down, comes back and leaves.

Pretty sure the last one was this structure, but 30 min levels.

Was down there this afternoon playing 2/5 and two other guys were talking about it, whether or not it was from my post I don't know. I've known the guy who told me for 24 years (We're 30) and highly doubt he'd make up a hand this ******ed that he wasn't in solely for my enjoyment.

I played it March WPT with a few posters, one final tabled and the other boobled.

The structure is okay. you get enough chips but being limit, blinds were too small to the point there was nothing to play for in the first 2 hours.

I had a great time trying to bluff Men The Master's wife, and muscle Foxwoods Freddy off of a set. HA HA HA. great use of a medium stack.

Later that night in the 20/40 game Men's Wife insta-folded to me and said "I know you, you only play good cards" Lol, she figured out in 3 hours what the regs hadn't in 3 years.

Course now I play crap so they don't need to.

Just got back from a 2 day session. Played 1/2 and noticed that there was a lot more people than usual. Games have been super juicy and loose, evidently people love to spew their chips. Here is an example of what I mean. Hand is an obvious cooler but given the history I think it could have been mucked.

Im in the SB with 550 and wake up with KcKs. Limps around to me, I make it $15. Three MP and the CO call, for length sake each has 400 effective. Flop comes JcKh8C. Im first to act so I bet $45, 2 MP's fold, one flats, CO raises $100 more (pot is 300 or so). Action to me, I shove for my remaining stack after the $145 (around 450-60ish total inc. 2bet from CO) MP folds. CO calls with a set of 8s. Turn and River brick and I ship the big pot.

What Im getting at is this could have been folded given the fact that my 3Bet was substantial and for the rest of CO's stack. It was a deep game so I wouldnt think CO would risk stack. Either way there were only three hands CO would do this with, AKo, JJ, or 88 and I think 88 is the easy fold.

Bottom line, get to the Woods and make some money in these low NLHE games, and avoid equity chops. LOL.

thought about this some more. A set of 8s is just not possible to fold especially in that spot.

You did the right thing. You needed to make a raise, and any substantial raise pretty much meant pot-commitment, so you had to shove. Plus, as great as top set is, there's too many draws out there for you to let them see cheaply. And these 1/2 guys, they'll chase anything. I'm surprised he even had a hand as good as a set of eights, to be honest.

Anyway, I've decided to do a single table Act II tonight, so I'll see you guys there...as if anyone cared

The 4/8 half kill goes daily. There is a 20/40 O.E. that gets going late in the afternoon daily, sometimes on weekends they will bump it up to 30/60. The WPT is in town for the next few weeks so you'll see lists for 10/20 half kill.

No I reiterated my previous statement saying that its not possible to fold. It was just a crazy situation that I was on the right end of.

This weekend the room was really packed. Had to wait an hour to get in the 5/10 game. They also had a 10/25 running. Did play in the HOSE event which had a pretty decent structure.

I was at a table yesterday where someone shoved 200ish on the river, and was called by ace high. The board was something like 94372 with 2 clubs. The guy who shoved had 62, and won a 600ish pot. Was anyone else at this table last night? Weirdest hand I've seen in a while...

The 62 guy was a 2+2'er. I'll let him tell the story if he wants to admit to it lol

Will be in Boston this weekend. Would like to play poker.
-How's Greyhound to the Casino from Boston? Straightforward or anything I need to know?
-What LHE limits are running consistently, lately? 5/10 kill, 10/20, 20/40?
-What are the wait times like with the WPT running?
-Anything else I need to know, as this is my first trip in two years to New England?
Thanks in advance,
Mr. C

they should have 4/8 10/20 and 20/40 running regularly, the 5/10 kill is periodic, waits are usually the same nothing to major they should have a lot of tables up and running

Take the greyhound from South Station for $28 round trip and it includes a free buffet or $15 Retail/Restaurants..and a free Keno ticket. Your good for 4 days on the return trip.
Also, there are Asian run bus companies that are pretty much free. You pay $12 and you can sell your match plays to the people right when u get off the bus for $15 so it's like you make $3 and a buffet just to take a ride to Foxwoods. PM me if you want details.

Yellow chip games (2/4 and 4/8) and 20/40 are the constants. 10/20 and 5/10 kill should be running strong given the weekend and tournaments. Rake is the same all all of them ($2 on flop, $4 max) but there's a $1 jackpot drop on all but the 20/40. Callins aren't taken during tournament time so you're looking at about an hour wait, max. There will be loads of butter-soft 1/2 nl games to kill that time. There should also be some mixed games (8/16 and up).

Get a players card as the hourly points are pretty generous. But don't expect a food comp unless you put in a significant week of play. Best food value is probably the burger at the bar in the Cedars restaurant ($9). Stadium sports bar has some decent food and lots of tvs. If you want a nice meal check out craftsteak (steak, duh) or Alta Strada (italian), both in the newer MGM "wing" of the casino.
