It says EBH Invited Guest List.....so I wouldn't expect to get in unless you're on the list.

My plan was to just stay at one of the many hiltons/marriotts in the area and drive over. I didn't realize the parking costs would be so insane though. If an uber costs $14 each way or so that wouldn't even save much money vs the parking costs. Seems like long sessions and playing 5/10+ are the only way it's worth it if you are going with the intention of making money. Those expenses are a big drain though either way.

Any word of security deposit boxes onsite?

Huge issue if they dont imo. The surrounding areas do not lend themselves to travelling with large amounts of cash on your person and no reg is going to be paying the parking rates on a daily basis. If my only options are to risk public transportation with large quantities of cash (even if I am only bringing what i plan to gambo at plo) or pay like 200+ parking there a week I might keep my play at chasers where it's free to park and only a 100ft walk from my car to the entrance

* PRM isn’t fond of large guarantee tournament series.
* He expects table maxes to be slightly larger than Foxwoods and Mohegan but not by a lot. He guessed 1/3 to be 500, 2/5 to be 700-800, and 5/10 to be 1500.

* The poker room management team began work last week and I hadn’t yet heard anything official or leaked in regards to these numbers. It’s very possible your source could have leaked this since it is consistent with what I had heard but who knows.

* Wynn LV is a different market than New England with different room managers. I don’t know if one room has any bearing on the other. Mohegan Sun, for example, operates multiple casinos and their rooms have different max buy-ins.
Good news: I confirmed through a dealer that the max table limits have been released.
Bad news: He was half paying attention.

5/10NL will be 1500 max.
2/5NL is either 700 or 800. He saw the number but forgets which it was lol.

I'm on him to get me more info and will post once I do unless someone else acquires it sooner.

It is better than 500$ but I was really hoping for more. It makes a world of difference to start 200bb deep. Anyway, still better than most places in New England

Agreed, I had a great time playing 2-5 with $1000 max buy in Vegas back in November.

“@wbz #BREAKING: Wynn and MGM Resorts confirm in joint statement that they have had conversations about the potential sale of Encore Boston Harbor.”

Wow - that would be so incredibly disappointing. MGM brand is nothing compared to a Wynn property. Lame.

Agree I like the Wynn properties more than MGM and hope this doesn't happen, but maybe it would be like the Bellagio, which isn't too shabby IMO.

Maybe MGM will validate our $42 parking. I know Wynn wont

No you don’t know this. I have it confirmed that there will be validation on parking. I wasn’t given details though.

They were probably just talking when they weren't sure they were going to keep their license. They aren't going to build this thing then sell it right away.

Good analysis. I was thinking the same thing. I want it to be the Wynn, because the Wynn only runs top notch operations. I've been to some crappy MGM properties and feared that's what would happen here if it's sold to MGM, but you might be on to something. If MGM treats Encore like the Bellagio, the sale wouldn't bother me personally (not like my opinion matters).

so any idea what games they will have?

Poker
video poker
bj
craps?

just curious. Probably hundreds of slots.

Guess you didn’t read the story. Cites the CEOs meeting to discuss this after the hearing that allowed them to keep the license.

sincerely cant wait to needle every single suburban clown that bitches about the parking rate

literally if they charged anything less than $30 daily you would have people parking there to commute into work

they are obviously going to discount it with any amount of reasonable action

Ok, so then they are going to fight for it, build it and then sell it for probably no where near what they put into it. Go through all the legal issues they would have to over come to sell it to someone who can’t buy it since they have a license already. I think they talked because they had to, not because they wanted to talk.

This is all Encore posturing because they feel this is a 35 million bribe the MGC is pushing down their throats. They will threaten to remove all the promised payments to all the local towns, etc.. and let's see how they feel about this.
