So I go up to Mavericks last night around 6:30. Go in and talk to Frank. Alcro was not there yet, so I grabbed some Chinese food and sit down and eat. Food was good and free. The place was busier than I had ever seen, Obv this is because of the free dinner imo.

I get done eating and Al comes in. I sit down and talk to him for a couple of minutes. We end up agreeing on a lot of points irt how the state is treaty charity rooms and casinos. Overall, he is really nice to talk to in person. He buys me into the cash game ( like he said he would) which was pretty cool imo. He also has a massage therapist the and gave out a couple free massages.

As far as my play goes.......

I sit at a cash table and fold for the first four orbits. I was getting **** cards the whole time. I finally pick up AJs, utg raised to 6, I reraise to 18. Everyone folds to utg who just calls. Flop comes 778, check check. Turn is an ace, he bets $25 I call. River is a blank, he bets $30 I call. He shows 78.

A couple minutes later I get moved to a different table. Played for another hour or so and ended up busting out with 10s<7-9 on a 6 high flop.

Overall, I had fun. The players in that room are pretty terrible. Hard for me to make sense of any of their bet sizing or calling ranges.

Would play there again.

Yeah, it's good action. There are some broke nits, but not a lot.

Seriously though it's the only 2/5 game. There will be 2-3 running. Call up to an hour ahead and put your name on the list so you won't have to wait as long

I use to think that Frank was just a jackpot party specialist, but he is way better at nlhe than I am.

Obv, OFC is way more of a skill game than nlhe
