You are right about the popularity being directly related to the BBJ. However, you are wayyyy off base about the WSOP finale table. For once, we saw good play and not just all in preflop shoving in hopes of getting lucky. One of the best FT in a looonnngg time my friend. Oh, and majority of your casual players are the ones watching it.

Yes it was good play but how many people do you know that spent 15 hours watching it?

Gee is an acquired taste. Some of the stuff he says is pretty classic. I wish i could record his thoughts. His theory on how you should be able to find a fold with JJ to a 3bet on the button after min raising with 8bb was amazing.

This was the first year i didnt watch the stream since 2006. Just had no interest at all, a lot of that is due to not being able to play online.

For what its worth, i felt the play last year was awesome.
