We will keep the list on the board at all times. Wednesday might be a better day to try and get the PCG because of the number of people in the poker room. Other wise we will continue to push the 2pm start on friday and hopefully the game will continue thru sunday evening.

Last Wednesday, if I recall (and I believe I do), there were 471 entrants in the 11am tourney and first was ~$11,300. Works out to 23.9%. I'm sure Stan could confirm.

Our payout structure changes as the entries increase. If you stop by the Borgata Poker Open in September and pick up the Brochure, you will see the payout structures.

By the way, I hope everyone is aware that the Championship event this year (sept 19-24) is $3,300 + $200. This is a huge value for the player who wants to have a chance to play on the big stage and a chance to play on TV and win BIG MONEY. The World Poker Tour will be here to film the final table. We are hoping for a huge tournout so the payout structure will be flattened to playout around 100 players.

Hey Stan I have a question about a ruling last weekend:

A lady picked up her cards to look at them and dropped one on the ground. The floor's decision was that the dropped card was dead but she could continue to play the rest of the hand with just one card. Is that correct?

As always I will answer this question as if it was a hypothetical situation.

If a player drops a card on the floor and the card is never married back with the other hole card, that card is dead and the player may continue with one card.

If the card that was dropped on the floor is married up again with the other hole card, the entire hand is dead.

Stan, what if she was a really hot babe? Couldn't that change the ruling, hypothetically?

Stan,
I have offers for a free weekday room, but one the days (Aug 27) I want to go is not available (called the front desk), would it be possible for me to get a poker rate?

I don't think I have many poker room hours, I always forget to log out. I did play a few small buy in events at the 2008 Winter Open and would log some decent hours this time.

Thanks for any help and the work you do in this thread.

The PCG seems to be doing well today. With 48 live games, there are a lot of players in the room to draw from. Tomorrow with the drawings should have the same effect.

Stan,
How has the PLO action been recently? I haven't been reading or posting a lot so I haven't really been following? (Or any one else that has been playing in the PLO games)

PS. I am planning on coming down Saturday to play there

The PLO has been good on the weekends. It was a little slow the first of the week. The BBJP may be playing a role in this. We had a game all day to day, but we were extremely busy.
