i have this vision of the hand in my head where you just see you flopped a boat, ur getting dc'ed and just frantically mashing the raise button...you're pretty sure you got the raise in and then come back just as you see he turned quads...and your heart sinks and your blood rises...

feeling sore isnt a indicator of any gains.

whats sad is that is that so many people accept it these days, and even suggest it when the topic comes up of getting action from bad regs. Its kinda like: well all these other players are doing it, so its only fair that I do it too. ****** gay imo

whats funny is that a lot of the people who do it, aren't even that good, and are only doing it to get action from a V small % of regs

i'm starting to become more and more sympathetic to the screen name changer's perspective. HSNL is dying and it's harder and harder to get any games going at all. if a guy can only get action from people he's worse than what's he supposed to do? just never play? at some point he has an obligation to himself to make a living, even if that means tricking other people. the only reason i don't do it is because my rep means too much to me, but i can't really judge it as being obviously wrong to switch screen names if that's what you need to do to have games to play.

especially considering that tons of other people are doing it; you make it seem like that doesn't justify switching up names but you are at a huge disadvantage if you're constantly playing players who have reads on you and can play you as unknowns while you don't get to do this to others.

ideally FTP would crack down on this the way they said they would (large transfers from CUUURSE to imraisin and then imrasin playing from CUUURSE's IP? maybe lock the account) but it's kind of weird for everybody to try making a huge deal out of this because what happens is only the "ethical" people get ****ed while those without the same scruples get to reap all the benefits of sn changing.

and another thing to keep in mind is that every game-selecting reg who sits in at HU tables waiting for fish is a competitor of yours: their ability to contribute to the overcrowding of FTP with dozens of HU tables diminishes your chance of getting the players you're waiting for. i'm not judging people for game selecting but it should be obvious that the people who don't give you action and play the fish are directly hurting your bottom line. so if you can play them and hurt their bankrolls and make them move down (or even distract them from opening other HU tables while you now have more of the "open tables" market) you now have a way better chance of actually playing poker one of these days. as there's less and less easy money HSNL is going to become more and more of an "every man for himself" environment. it sucks but it's just the nature of a dying economy that people start looking for any edge they can to continue succeeding at what they're doing.

need to clear the air about this.

I did not "switch" screennames. the imrussian account was my original account in my name, when i first started playing FT. i didn't know about rakeback until months later, and as a result i painstakingly created a new account (CCUUURRSE) where i could receive rakeback.

eventually i got better, and started making real money, and when that happened the difficulty of cashing out became apparent. so after a really tedious process i was able to cash those funds out, and i decided to forget about the CCUUURRSE account from then on.

the intent behind playing this initial screename is not to "trick" people into playing me. i got plenty of action on my old account. i don't play HU regs all that often, and in the few days i have starting playing on FTP again, i have always informed those players who i am, never once concealing my identity. and here i am publicly "outing" my name in the HSNL forum. there is no chicanery or deceit of any kind, the account change is a matter of necessity without which i may not be able to cash out.

please don't assume such insulting things. and ace cr9, still, fk you.

If anyone wants to live in this apartment in Almere (Holland), for 425 eur/month, from Sept 1st or earlier, preferably not much later, with me, PM me. (only MSNLers and up)

ps. It's really close to the South-West corner of Flevoland, so you're in Amsterdam in no time.
