If I am really really really drunk and I buy in for my account balance at 200/400nl would you prefer that A) I not give you action or B) I give you 2 hands of action....what is the consensus here?
07-24-2008 , 09:26 AM

yes imo if you didn't give warning- and its pretty rare im anything but super nice to fish (not saying that as an insult, but in this case id assume you agree you were -ev at higher stakes while wasted etc)

whoever you played when you were drunk probably didnt know you were, so when you play 2 hands and sit out, he has a right to be pissed off, basically its just like stealing a blind and sitting out, which is scum.

My chat is banned and I tried PMing the person before I played him and waited maybe 15 minutes but he didn't respond. The way I described myself (super drunk and buying in for account balance) agrees with your description of myself as a fish. I don't think it's appropriate at all because it's just as likely that if I lost maybe 1k I'd suddenly decide to quit as well since I am obviously superscared money at those stakes. I just think people who have the edge should learn to be more professional to the fish and not be babies about losing $1,300 in variance when I just handed them a ton of EV and they just had a 7 figure month.

looking to buy a Tempurpedic bed, probably queen sized, but checked out the website and not sure which exact type to get. Any recommendations?

lol no its not at all. playing your button and leaving is +EV pretty much unless you are a total monkey. Playing 2 hands is going to be -ev if u are worse than your opponent, period.

lets clarify that scum should imply you give yourself some sort of unfair advantage, not you are a silly idiot who decides to play for 30 seconds.

It depends if you like a firm or soft mattress. Every person is different, but I think the Tempurpedic Grand bed (soft/pillow-type feel) is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.

Go to a store and and try them all out...
