Yeah, we have local casino owned by the government. You have people willing to gamble off some large sums just to have a good time (and because many are just degens). The games are great as i said before: one example i always use was in a tournament:
Five hands in, with blinds at 50-100 and starting stacks at 5k, there are four limpers and big blind checks. The flop comes q76 with two spades. BB open shoves, Utg instacalls, everyone else folds.
BB shows q2 os while utg shows 54 os. UTG ends up hitting the straight, literally half the table start talking what a tough hand that was and what a cooler it was. No joke. Other nice ones include the chipleader at the final table folding an all in bet for 1.5bb wile he was in the bb.
And to the other person who posted no there isnt a war in my country, there is poliical tension (as always) but everyone shoul be relatively safe. Most people are impressed with what they see when they come here, even Americans/westerners.
Anyway just for the poker its worth it. Will be more than glad to help any people out who are interested (for advice on where to stay and such).
