IMO you guys have the leverage here. I'm a MTT regular, and, with a few exceptions, I can honestly say that cash games are the only thing holding that site together. Granted, you will probably have to 'strike', but you can definitely get a better compensation.

I'd love to see poker players rally around this cause and put pressure on ftp, but I somehow don't see it happening. The only players that will care are the ones that are owed money.

A few months ago a huge part of the prima network (Tusk Group) went into liquidation (they essentially spent at least a significant part of the players' balances). The players affected by this are owed in excess of 6 million dollars and have yet to hear to a peep as to whats going on 6 months later. Noone that didn't play on those skins cares. Microgaming can pretty much ignore the issue and continue to have no financial oversight over their skins because there is no threat that their business will ever take a significant hit.

People still play on AP/UB. Yaddi yaddi yadda.

Unless you could rally enough people to noticably hurt their traffic for a significant time, I think any poker network will do whatever it wants and not care about losing small groups of players.

Maybe something like this would be helpfull in order to expose colluders?

http://pokerevsoftware.com/forum/index.php?topic=654.0

I bet PokerEV/HEM/PT 3 would implement this if enough people were to demand it.

I just read this thread straight through and it is really sad how this turned out, it really turned me off from FTP, I can't believe how bad their support reacts to collusion, especially collusion that is so obvious. Hope everything works out for you HS guys

bump, submitted summary to a contact at FTP, should be hearing back in near future i'd think

hello to all you HSNL players who got scummed and cheated out of a huge amount of money - I feel for you and I truly think that what they did was a horrible and immoral thing. Unfortunately, this is the risk that you guys take as professionals in the online HSNL cash world. Anybody, and anyone, can call their friend hundreds or thousands of miles away and tell him to sit at a table, collude, and never speak of it again except between themselves. Although I find that FTP support is not very good as that compared to PS, there is not a whole they or you can do. That is the nature of the game until there is a better way to stop it - any 2 ****ed up people can collude and there is no way to stop them except to notice the consistency of them being at the same table. Personally, I have chosen to step away from the cash games online and I stick to tournaments, as the collusion is few and far between (although it definetely still exists.) I think this boils down to an issue of online poker in general, and I am surprised that you guys have not noticed this before or faced repurcussions from colluders. I have had a few issues with FTP in the past, and have noticed that they handle issues very poorly for the winning players that their profits arise from. It is truly a disgrace, and I am positive that a real casino in Vegas or AC would gladly compensate you every dime and penny you were cheated out of if collusion was present at a cash game. Unfortunately, it is now up to you players to find a website that is trustworthy in these matters and where collusion will be fished out quickly so you do not lose as much money as to these pieces of ****. What happened at Ultimatebet and AP has made me aware of what these online poker sites are truly capable of in terms of greed. Again, all my wishes go out to you who were cheated out of money from these jerkoffs and I hope it is all compensated, but I truly doubt it will be. Hundreds of thousands of dollars were definetely laid into these people's laps, and I can't imagine how much of it they lost to other regulars, whether at ring games or HU. There is no real way for FTP to give all of you back money you lost to these guys in a fair manner, and no incentive for them to do so (this money is literally their profits - it's not some 2/4NL joke.) As I am reading this thread, it makes me wonder how many times this happens in lower stakes to honest grinders who would never do this so immorally to someone else. This should be a lesson to all of us that we need to be aware that these things can and do happen all the time, and this method of cheating is made easily accessible to scumbags all around the US and everywhere else. Again, I truly feel for those of you who lost money to these guys and I hope you get the most of it back that FTP is willing to give you. In the future, I hope matters like this are dealt with in more of a rapid fashion and that which is most respectful to the poker player who was cheated at the table.

boosted, what about other people that won in the game (non colluders)? There mustve been people other than me. Seems like that could be a big part of why theres such a small % of what u guys lost getting refunded.

yo boosted
for whatever reason i keep on not seeing my name on any of these things. i got a refund of 1642.25 from ft over the summer due to the cheating scandal, i thought i posted it in this thread but maybe not. so if theres additional refunds to be had, id like to be hooked up also.

thx

All I hear is FTP is going to do something else for the players, I'm sure they have a list of the players affected by the cheating. You haven't missed anything yet.

how is getting cheated out of more than 100,000 and receiving compensation for 683 "better" than being cheated out of 60,000?

that's probably the most ******ed thing i've ever heard in my entire life...

seriously

guess i needed to read further... sorry for the statement, but @ teh time it was my initial reaction.. boosted later confirmed the $683 was from an unrelated scandal in the LHE section, and sean confirmed that

still though, @ that point, you didn't have that information either when you made the statement that getting owned for $100k+ & being refunded <$1k was 'better' than being owned for $60k
