BUt that is chip EV per tournament from SB dont KNOW how make it into bb/100 SORRY
thanks, i find that indeed useful.

@ jollyjumper:

see, you played a little over 3k hands from the SB. alot can happen over such a small sample. 2-3 river all-ins where you were "supposed" to be good on average will lose you a few k in expectation.

nevertheless i think you are way too tight from that position, both defending and opening. start off by adding the top of your folding ranges and see how you will be doing over a larger samplesize. you should also keep in mind that analysis for all stacksizes isn't very meaningful as your stats should be different for 20bb and 10bb.

Hello all! Good luck at 2017!
I have strugle.
What is decent volume for spins? Do in lower stake you sould aim for bigger volume (4-6k month) or get up ASAP so play less but focus more.
Thanks!

Goddamn, 65+ cEV is beyond sick. Sucks to not even be the best 'Aaron' in Spins.

Anyone notice the rake differences for the stars special events?

7d spins 7%
20d spins 7% Special TCOOP tickets
15d spins 6%
30d spins 6%
£50 spins 8% Special London Festival

Think it's appalling that a $20 spin is raked higher than a $15 spin (wait for the increase in $15 spin?). As for the 8% rake for the London Festival, this is beyond belief!

Hate the way the rake is not shown on the front page, or when you enter the tournament, just the actual amount, so you have to calculate this - think this should be mentioned in the actual main window along with the entry fee and amount you can win up to.

That doesn't sound great, hopefully there's another side to this other than being opportunistic.

Isn't it totally standard for promo spins to have horrible rake?
** Official Spin and Go's Discussion Thread ** Quote
01-13-2017 , 03:19 AM
Why? Does it cost PS significantly more to give away the promo than the regular prize?

And if the promo is more attractive to the avg player, then why not just constantly run promo prizes instead of regular prizes?

Why I have no idea. Being generous I guess they spend that extra rake on more TV spots advertising them? I just mean whenever there has been promo spins, even back to the first $5 "win a million" ones, they have been 8% ish.

Is there any way to get some quality coaching and/or staking deal without enslaving yourself playing for some stable for a million games? I've played a bunch of low stakes spins over the past few months. I haven't had any coaching, don't use a hud but I've taken some advice from a friend who's in a stable. What's my best bet?

How many games are you seeing in offers to consider it "enslaved for a million games" when you can do ~15k in a few months? Apply to husng.com.

You have to remember, for their investment a stable at the least wants a decent chance you'll hit a few good multipliers while you're under contract.

they havent advertised the £50 ones or the $20 ones so cant see that being a excuse to amp up the rake, and the jackpot is 11950 times less than all other spins, if anythin rake should be lowered as there using them to reach guarantees to live and online series that are otherwise struggling, not raping people and not putting anywere in writing what the % of rake is... the sooner amaya dies and someone else takes over the better theyve run the once great company into the ground and show no signs of stopping, i mean look at the PCA main event $450k uptop it used to get 1,2 and 3million ftw there so withered now n seems theyre just trying to squeeze that last bit of value out the regs before the game breaks ** Official Spin and Go's Discussion Thread **** Official Spin and Go's Discussion Thread **

I havent seen any offers but I would consider anything over 20-25k games to be a lot. This could also depend on stakes.

How does someone go about picking a stable? I'm completely out of the loop. Do they do 1on1 coaching, do they put effort in improving their players, who's coaching. So many questions.

Big stables like husng and SmartSpins offer a variarity of benefits for the playerrs ranging 1on1 coaching sessions, group sessions, video libraries (with anything from theoretical, live play and live reviews videos), private forum, skype groups, inside promotions for achiving goals, etc. So its not like you´re "slavering" yourself to click buttons for 20k games and giving out your EV for nothing. In theory in the mid/long term the stable will help you increase your EV faster than doing it solo and that will help you crush higher stakes than the one you´re currently playing right now, so by your graph it seems you´re regulary playing 7s and havent got much success beating 15s with the support of a stable behind you it would take you a few weeks to get you to 15s and a couple of months to get you play and beat 30s+.

Got it thanks. I haven't given 15s much of a shot I was trying to beat 7s consistently for 80cev+ before moving up. I'll apply and see what happens. Thanks for the replies.

I also find the volume requirements a bit high. It's the main stumbling block for me when considering getting backed. There is plenty of money to be made in spins without factoring in any of the big multipliers.

can only speak from experience: i have came through the HUSNG program.

was playing $3.50 HU hypers in my spare time when i started and i'm playing $60's spins now, even with having a full time 40hr / week job.

coaches and back end support are excellent, and the player group is very supportive of each other / active in HH chats.

its a long established stable, with an excellent record in player development.
