I'm a bit surprised that there's only one thread in HUSNGF for general discussion on such a popular game as spins. It could be split into a suggestion thread (the only one that Baard would have to read), regs' thread (or even an 'official trash can' like the hypers chat of the O8 forum), a serious / beginner general question thread etc.

What I don’t understand is what is the logic behind making promotion on expense of the customer (8%) and not at your own, especially on special occasions like anniversary. It seems more logical to lower the rake with let say 1-2% for such events. The only way it makes any sense is if the maintenance of having such low $0.5/$5 Spins with huge traffic would normally costs the site 10% rake.

I totally agree that throwing such big numbers as 1M is nice and will attract many regardless of the odds.

You've resolved your own doubt. The demand is what defines the price, and the public demand for a Spin with a sweet prize at the top is surely bigger.

What suggestions do people have to improve Spins that haven't already been brought up in the PokerStars Improvement Threads in both this forum and the Internet Poker Forum?

They won't discuss rake, they agree add a table and deals are a good idea but have said for years they don't have the resources to prioritize. They're aware and taking steps against data mining and registration software.

It just seems like a PM to baard, email to ideas@ or posts in one of those two threads will cover suggestions and let the people that need to see it see it.

The fact that the $1M Spin has hit so early again is bad for the credibility of the promo; we can only hope that the multiplier probabilities will be fair despite Stars' expenses on this early hit.

For me it was a painful watch. Making $5 sng players play for $1M is an intolerable cruelty.

Please Stars, do the right thing and allow deals on the highest multipliers. Right now it's just inhuman!

Names directly referencing spins are pretty cool IMO. Names directly referring to the prizepools are awesome. References to wheels, rotation/spinning/twirling and being lucky are all good too.

Well, we can only say that the $0.50s & $5s will be in the lobby at least until Nov 30 (thanks for spotting that!), but they might continue being there for a bit longer, just people will have to buy in directly with $ in December.

The ticket expiration date does not necessarily equal the end of the entire promotional period.

Or do you think there will be some other ways to win $1M on Christmas? During the last festive period, $1M Spins with the $5 buy-in were around, why shouldn't they be present then this year?
