There was a professional snowboarding contest in East River Park in NYC in February called Snow Scrapers that was sponsored by Red Bull.

It was filled with all the best riders in the world and first place was $50,000..If you kno snowboarding, it had Travis Rice, Pat Moore, Scotty Lago, Shaun White, JJ Thomas and a few other of the best riders..My brother Shayne Pospisil basically never expects to win a contest like this, i mean, all these guys are crazy good..
Anyway, Shayne is from New Jersey so being at NYC this was kinda like a hometown crowd for us and he brought all his friends to watch, I came with 5 of my friends to watch, and my whole family was there..
My brother won and won 50 gees and after he won we all broke down the fencing and rushed him like we won the world series...
Then we all went to this awesome hotel and bar in NYC that redbull had paid all the riders to stay in and we partied all night.
After that my brothers life has changed and now signs autographs for little kids on a regular basis.. amazing night that changed his, mine, and my families life.
