I thought he hasn't except for with friends like h2olga and people that bugged him a lot like 5 years ago (Indiana).

Email him though, his blog should have details (livb112 or olivierbusquet.com works).

How should I handle a reg who keeps timing down on me? He doesn't sit me but he sits a lot of lobbies and he sucks, but I'm not sure I can beat rake against him when he takes every last second (and times out a lot doing it) on every decision.

Trying to set a fair line here:

What kind of odds would one get if he were to attempt playing 20,000 games in a month at the 100s and has to maintain a 1% ROI?

Was gonna say 5 to 1 at best bit that is such sick volume that 7 to 1 can be in order. Past 7 is too much imo

Keep playing him as you normally would, if anything increase the frequency if your bankroll and mental state can handle it, as he's showing that you playing him is really making an impact on his confidence/decisions.

If you want to get technical, it's a math problem, identify the important variables (your $ per min vs him compared to the avg reg that is also playing the same time as him compared to waiting for an open lobby).

You'll have to make some assumptions, and if nothing sticks out too extreme over another option, play him when you feel good, don't play him when you don't feel good and you're probably close to making the best decision and avoiding terrible choices most of the time.

Edit: I would consider him timing down to obviously decrease your potential edge, but I think the information he gives about his likely lack of confidence/mental fragility more than makes up for this on average.

Of course, if people regularly timed down to decrease your potential edge my statement would likely be false, but I think most of the time when people actually time down they are upset/angry/otherwise in a negative mental place due to you sitting them (not always, but usually). You're usually close to or in the territory where he'll tilt and make pretty bad decisions that allows you to profit additionally. Other times, the opponent recognizes they are upset and quits. Either result takes him out of the lobby and increases the chances that your next opponent is a bad player.

Thanks, great post. Do you think I should contact ipoker about it or not bother?

i think its not humanly possible to play 20k hypers a month with 1% roi unless you play 7$ s

still pretty impressive asuming 666 games/day

I avoid these guys...I mean, even if we have some extra edge b/c of their mental state, the extra time wasted playing thess fools for twice/thrice as long as a normal game is just not worth it imo...

As a tag-team, I'd see this possible. One guy, doubt it. 5:1.

5-1 seems too low to me. 10k in a month, maintaining a 1% ROI, is hard enough in itself. Double that **** seems inhumane.

i assume one can constantly 4table at the 100s, so thats 100 games per hour, thats 7 hours a day for a month. Think people are overestimating this

there is no way you can do 100games/hr 4-tabling at 100s even if the action is good

if you're not game selecting at all you can get 100 games/hour

7 hours/day is absolutely insane though. That does not include any breaks, you are making decisions nonstop 4tabling, don't think I could do that for 1 day playing winning poker.

Repeating that for 30 days in a row, impossible
