I think at ipoker "waiting in lobby" means something different than at Stars or FT. Afaik it does not mean a game lobby but the overall Pokerroom lobby. So that means he is just online.

As a slightly more advanced player, a lot of the useful advice in coaching videos fall under the "100% agree but knew it already" category, whereas newer players who pay attention will learn MORE new things. Coaching sites thus help new players more than existing regs so on a selfish PoV I think coaching sites are bad. My superior ability to digest information is not enough to make up for knowing most of the stuff already.

Irrelevant to coaches whether I "like" it, though.

His sn was System Operator and he's been not around the past 2 weeks or so after he tilted off $200 that I staked him.

Obv bad idea considering he was a losing player but he seemed nice and I wanted to try to help him become a winning player as a little project like doing HH reviews and stuff when I'm at work. I have a feeling he abandoned his account and is now using another one here to post but I could be wrong.

Sounds like exactly what happened to me, except I only staked him 150, and hes down 50 bucks so he has money left over. Obv isnt replying to my skype IMs, and I am certain he has read them.

Basically hes a scam artist and I / you ( newff) should open a thread explaining such. Also, would have been nice of you to post the bolded in this thread! But isnt a big deal, was only 150 =/

And I shouldve asked around a bit more, but hes always been so nice and available
