Well, it is just a simple math problem. For instance, if you play $20 HU SNGs and you are able to achieve a 5% ROI(I will estimate on the low side) 1-tabling, you would make $1/game or $6/hr. If you play 120-160hrs/month you would end up making on avg $720-$960/month, if you include rakeback you will reach your goal each month on avg. Obv you should 2-table even if your ROI takes a small hit, you will just make a lot more money, 2x+.

Yea, at smaller stakes the player pool is larger so you will prolly not run into the same ppl as often as you would at higher stakes, but still note taking is a good habit to have.

BTW, to continue my recommendation of gaming/computer hardware, I've been trying a bunch of mice, razer ones, microsoft ones, habu, deathadder, etc, and I just bought a mouse that I had 4-5 years ago (it half-broke and I lent it to a friend who needed a mouse at the time), and honestly, it is much cheaper than these older things, and just so awesome overall.

MX518, logtech. I sound like a logitech shill now. Honestly though the G500 is meant to be a laser and better version of it but I am dubious. May try it later but I prefer optical mice in general. Maybe just superstition, but anyway, the MX518 is awesome. That is all.

And while I'm at it, if you're not an audiophile but still want a nice earphone, Sennheiser CX300.

Well, it is more about future earnings. He will be making $5-10/hr to start, but in a few months he should be making a lot more. But yea, getting a pt job would be a lot safer/smarter, especially if he doesn't plan on playing professionally after college.

i don't feel like i get as good a feel for my opponent when i'm playing 2 or more tables. i also don't enjoy it nearly as much. I love watching TV, movies, or listening to talk radio or podcasts or reading 2+2 or whatever when i'm 1 tabling ... and whenever i've tried to play 2 tables + watch TV, it's really hard to concentrate on all three things. when i just play 2 tables with no other distractions, i still find that a lot harder than 1 tabling + TV. playing 3 or more tables for me is just totally impossible and i'm completely lost. i can physically do it, but it's just way too fast for me for some reason. i'm sure if i practiced, i could get good at it, but i'm happy doing what i'm doing and i don't see any need to fix something that isn't broken. it's possible that it might be better for me to play 2 tables at $55 instead of one at $110... and maybe i'll have to do that if it keeps getting tougher to find fish at the $110s. And the strange thing is that i play very quickly (some people think i'm a bot because i'm so fast in my moves) and i'm also really good at Starcraft 2 which involves a lot of clicking and multi-tasking... so i should be able to multi-table reasonably well... but i've never really found that it works out for me and i find it much more difficult and less enjoyable. P.S. how happy is everyone to see giant boxes of text in the forum now that i'm back posting? paragraphs are for chumps
