Tomorrow at 11am there will be a press conference held by the governor of NJ, in what could turn out to be a historic day for online poker in the United States. As you know, March 3rd is the final day of the deadline for the bill which would legalize internet gaming in the state of New Jersey, along with online poker. It's do or die tomorrow. I'm so nervous.

I'm personally on the fence. If it passes, most likely stars and Full Tilt will leave the state of New Jersey, to contract with the NJ sites, which would obv be shi**y for me. That means I will have to move out of state, and I'm going to move to Las Vegas. Obviously moving to Las Vegas would be awesome, so it'll be sad to leave NJ, but exciting at the same time.

For everyone not living in NJ, you guys probably want it to pass. It will be good for NJ to be the guinea pig, because other states will def follow in NJ's footsteps, and it'll be good for you all to know what stars and tilt's plans are, once your state legalizing online gaming.

Also, it will be great for online poker if it passes, because it will lay the groundwork for other states to follow, and with more and more states having legalized online poker, one day we can have combined player pools!

If it doesn't pass, it's not the end of the world. For me, I'll still be able to live home if it doesn't pass. Also, for you guys, another state would then become the guinea pig, most likely Florida, Cali, or Iowa.

Also, the governor could veto it, but make changes to it, and send it back through this whole 3 month process again lol. If that happens, I will be frustrated as a mofo lol. I just wanna know one way or another already! Where am I going to be living!!!!!!!!

I remember the leader of this bill, despite it overwhelmingly passing, was quoted as saying he would not override a veto. Could just be smoke, but still, it's a sign that the governor has more power than just to veto or not to veto here.

Ya, if i had to predict what will happen, I say he's gonna veto it "with changes" and send it back through the process. That would be super frustrating for me.

Anyone know a mod to change the Stars tables HU to be oriented like FTP, i.e. facing your opponent top-down rather than side-to-side? This one thing keeps me off Stars.
