The general advice is to keep playing so long as the game is good... If you lose half your winnings to a bad beat, just try to keep in mind that you were actually on track to win even more in that spot!
That being said, if sitting on a 333BB stack makes you uncomfortable (and therefore playing suboptimally), sure, go ahead and quit. No shame in that.
I think there's a Mike Caro quote that goes something like "People always ask after a loss, "Why didn't you quit when you were ahead two buy-ins?". Why didn't I quit? Because you never hear that same question when you're up 5 buy-ins at the end of the night!"
