I'd be willing to sell 60% and its at 52% now -- just ate and getting ready to check in. Will fire up laptop and update the spreadsheet. The ballroom is packed.....I'm so stoked about the potential prizepools this week!

Then you have to come to Choctaw and Tunica if you like big fields. The $345 re-entry's should excede 1400 and the main in Choctaw also 1400.

WOW! I love huge fields -- there's something about that big prizepool of money, the energy from the room filled with players and the huge sense of accomplishment when you navigate those fields and reach the final table.

They have this ballroom set-up so nice in my opinion. They have the final table already roped off with a boom camera overtop for live streaming. There are speakers throughout the room with subtle alerts when the level is almost over and a new one is announced. Very cool and I can't wait to throw myself in the mix of things. Really wish I arrived earlier so that I could have played Event #1. $42k for a $340 buy-in tournament???? That's pretty good value!

If you didn't follow me on Twitter yesterday, I played the Nightly Event. There were 112 runners with 12 getting paid and 1st place was $5k. I was steadily grinding my stack with small pots and everything was under control. On my bust hand, I had A 8o in the big blind. There was an EP limper along with 4 other callers. I raised from big blind to represent a strong holding. The EP limper calls my raise and the others fold. We get a 9 high flop and I lead out with a 60% pot size continuation bet and he calls. The turn card was a harmless non-paint card and after reviewing the size of the pot and the remaining chips I had behind along with his stack size, I shipped in my remaining chips which represented at least 75%+ of his stack. He tanks for a bit; and makes the hero call with AK for Top Air and I brick the river and we're out.

On to Event #2A today!!!!

Update:

My cellular phone was either misplaced or stolen last night. I will need to leave the casino and visit a Sprint Store if it is not found within the next few hours. Since the day got off to a bad start along with the misfortune on the felt the past 4 tournaments, I have opted to pass on today's $555 event and play the next $555 which will take place on Tuesday.

Thank you for your understanding and hope an additional day off the felt will help us turn things around.

Additional Note: If you need to reach me, the best approach is to send me a PM on 2+2. I am using Eric's (Image Masters) computer to gain access to 2+2 as the Sprint Wireless card for Wi-Fi access is also spotty/limited at best.
