DougL -

Am I allowed to add the $1,500 from the prop-bet to my running tally to increase my winrate? Or would that be skewing my average to benefit my results?

Your thread is full of your wins. Count what you want, if it makes you happy.

I've never really cared about that stuff. I'd be a bit sad as a pro sitting in a game when another pro won't play short and causes the game to break, but if someone wants to play short sessions, whatever. It seems like the people who care most about other player's sessions lengths are in the "that's my money over there" or "I deserve a chance to win it back" camp. If he's not happy with his shorthanded skills and he's at a shot taking limit, I can understand why he's not playing short. Again, as a guy who then loses the ability to play as he breaks the game, I'm sad -- I just get why.

SM, why didn't you move down to your old stakes instead of leaving the casino? Did you hit up the lower list? If there isn't a 20 game you'll play, it seems good practice to get in hours and work on poker as a job. That is assuming it is your job, which I think it is but it might not be.

Exactly Doug...if it was a private game then it is obviously a different story, but it is a public casino and a big casino at that, so I don't get why anyone would care when anyone leaves since they are perfectly in their right to leave the casino for any reason or no reason at all. But it isn't like I am habitually breaking games, almost all my sessions have ended before 8 or 9pm.

No, poker is not my main job. In fact just got my monthly checks today which come in each month based on work I have done in the past, of which I continue to grow by helping uninsured and underinsured in the valley save money on prescriptions. And Maricopa county is I think 2nd in the nation for most uninsured people and between the state's budget woes, the illegal population, and Gov. Brewer kicking a quarter of a million childless adults off Arizona's medicaid program AHCCCS, the numbers will always be limitless and ever increasing. And there is literally nobody doing what I am doing on the scale and volume I am doing it on, so I have basically zero competition.

It is a grind driving endlessly all over the valley which is why I am tired after 3 hours or so playing poker. But based on the work I have already put in in the last 3 years on and off I can in theory sit on my ass all day everyday and play 3/6 and make 90cents/hour and not have to worry about all monthly expenses plus some for probably 2 or 3 years, but obviously there will be attrition over time and I want to have bigger checks coming in so I continue to do it of course.....and then there is poker too.

Of course my plan is to get my poker bankroll high enough where I can just live off that easily as I continue growing it and then cash my checks each month, and go straight over to the coin shop and put it all into silver

Although my coin shop dude might be getting out early which sucks because he almost got robbed recently!

http://www.kpho.com/story/23910556/p...oin-shop-heist

These thieves would have pulled off the robbery successfully and rather easily too, but they made a bad mistake, that the Scottsdale Police were completely on top of.

You should have started shot taking 20-40 sooner.

Yeah, but oh well... I am still underolled for the game which sucks. The sad thing is I have still left a decent amount of value on the table so far being worried about being underolled. Won't feel comfortable until 500BB's.

Silverman what happened to you? I've had to go back to playing the mix game since the 20 holdem is too boring if you aren't in lineup...
