We been tangling it up a bit. I took a weird line against him a couple hands prior and he seemed annoyed. *i hope he doesn’t read this because we r still playing lol. Nonetheless, solid player and dont know much more.
Wierd crappy spot...personally I probably woulda iso'd the $80 and been forced to show down. As played a fold is prob good...

Just the perfect pot odds to make this gross. If BB plays his monsters this way, it's a fold, but if not, he's likely iso'ing. Hopefully they're cannibalizing each others outs so call if you're feeling it, fold if not.

Maybe Rayz can say different, but doesn't seem like villian is counting on any FE

^^ You're probably right, a fold is likely prudent in this spot.

I've played with that villain before, and think your observation of him being a solid player is a bit off. When I've played with him, he has been quite splashy. Not maniacal level, but definitely a spot at the table. Definitely dressed up a little nicer too, the Times I've played with him he's been in a track suit.

No pokers this weekend. Recovering and hanging w fam.
Back at it tomo, prob head to CBus Tuesday to collect bonus $.

been thinking about trying sports fantasy. We hv everything in place that matters, so now in my life just gonna start doing whatever I want.
Talked to @onceharby about the best site. Looks like DraftKings is still the place to be. Budgeting is still important as we just reached the $3k #moneywall mark, so only gonna dep $100 to give it a try. If anyone has suggestions here I wd b open ears.

IMO stay far away from draftkings and daily fantasy unless you like burning money. All the money is won by less than 5% of players, plenty of literature out there on the internet about it.

Basically they run computer Sims and algorithms and play at all the major combos, will buy as many entries in as many contests as they can.

It's great entertainment and you can def get lucky and win, but hard to compete against the fantasy sharks in the long run.

THanks @Tswpoker1 and @gatorxp. mayb i shd reconsider.

-$201. and a RTA beat. HAD TO GO.

HAD TO GO during a $2400 hh hour.
$300 high hand each hour (AAA1010Q) and if not hit, all monies rollover to a bonus hour (3-4p).
RTA on MONDAYS and Tuesdays 4-7, so yeah. GUess who had to leave at 3p during a $2400 high hand hour?

Hi B.S.
Just got done reading post #1 thru #6187. It took awhile but I got'er done. (I should get a RTA shirt for a prize)
I was able to see the mindset of a Pro Poker Player over a 6 year period condensed down to a few months.
I'm rooting for you

Pm me ur address if u want that shirt.
U keyed in on an important word, “mindset”. The most important attribute to being a successful poker player. Poker is tough, heartbreaking, gut wrenching, and whirlwind of emotions. Only the strong minded survive in this game.

Ur post came at a gd time for 2 different reasons.
One, been thinking about hanging it up here, for I feel I may be getting on peoples’ nerves. Prob hv lost a lot of my audience for one reason or another, and mayb I’m the only one left. 2+2 has been gd therapy and my personal journal, but has it ran its course? Maybe
Anyhow, ur post reminded me why I gv it so much time. Thanks.

Secondly, I had a rough day. The 1/2nl was playing w a reg $10 straddle.
Lost aipf AA < QQ (flop set) for $500.
Lost aipf AK < 88. 88 4bet shoved, I called. (Me limp$10, V raise$50, Me 3bet to $150, V shoves and covers my $400. I call.) Brick city.

Lost $800 ish on the day.

So when u talk “mindset”, I hv to just get back at it the next day. I know my skills and know I’m unbeatable in he long run. So off to Columbus tomo and Thurs cause that’s what we do. We hv to shrug it off @Rustic Road.

Cd hv very easily been a $1k+ day if Aces held and can win a flip. #mindset

Btw, RTA went great today. Picked up 2 more students. We at 10 now!
Kind of weird giving lessons shortly after losing $800.
