Obviously all three hands are good bluffs.

But isn't the main mantra to winning at micro stakes to always value bet and NEVER bluff?

Yet all three hands are pretty major bluffs, where 2/3 involve you going all in by the end of the hand.

I'm not criticizing, I'm simply curious as to why.

Those were just 3 hands in the thousands he's been playing for the competition though. Also the hands were just brags as part of a mini-competition going on for free coaching.

There's really no place for 'never' in Poker... Bluffing is possible in microstakes, just highly player dependent.

I don't believe in that mantra.

I think sometimes we learn these "rules" to poker, and although they can help us not go broke when we are first starting out, after a while they can hinder our development as players.

You have to play differently against every individual player you encounter, and against some people bluffing, even at the micros, can be very profitable.

I also don't think it's wise to advise people to start experimenting for the first time with postflop barreling, bluffraising, or light 3 betting AFTER they move out of the micros, where the stakes are higher and the competition is tougher.

One of the interesting things that happens as you start to get better at poker is that you realize that every stake is exactly the same. Its just a bunch of individual players. And you play each player type the same regardless of whether its 10nl or 200nl.

Spoiler:

Can you explain your thinking process at this hands? I mean, at all hands you have SD value. I know you only need 1/3 or 1/2 to be profitable. But why bluffing with hand which have SD value?

I don't think any of those hands had a chance at showdown.

This is need explanation
What was specific read that make you think Villain capable to fold big pocket pair? I guess Villain have small WTSD (WTSD ~20% or less with sample size >300 hands). Am I right?
