And yeah, it goes without saying that once you flop the effective nuts, you're pretty happy getting it in.

Dan openly admitted to some spewwy hands during some of the sessions. This may be one of them.

the guy turned out to be nitty. i had very few hands on him but had seen him 4bet several times so far and made an premature assumption. i can jam over a cbet on some boards where i don't flop gin like this, and aggro 4bettors are going to have flop check/folding and even bet/folding ranges. there is a place to call 4bets ip somewhat light vs the right people, however i don't think my preflop call was good in this spot. also his minraise open bvb then slightly larger than usual 4bet suggests strength and that perhaps he was baiting the 3bet. so yes pre is a bit spewy. sometimes when running poorly for several consecutive sessions we are prone to make some marginal, overly optimistic plays. i've done worse lol.

i try not to look at the EV line and i think it can be misleading at times and i only included it this time because i was being a whiner

Villain has about $5 left in stack after river bet. Some days poker is hard...

AT: Strange line (at least for me). Why did you x/min raise OTT? Why did you x/r OTR as played? Villain seems quite fishy but I still can't see your reasoning behind your line...

Villain was extremely loose/aggressive/fishy/bad/maniac. OTT when he bets so small, given my experience with him, I expected his river bet to also be small. When I min c/r I allow him to go into spaz mode with a a variety of holdings. Had he bet larger on turn I would have called, expecting him to jam river himself.

OTR I c/r all in because he has $5 left and can call me with J high because he is "committed", he also can take these strange spazzy lines with a pair like 8x and he would never fold that to the raise. And finally it is still somewhat possible he has Ax, most of which I beat.

And yes, its a very very non-standard line. I wouldn't do it this way 99/100 times. It developed this way bc I checked turn to induce from his wide flop floats and then he made the extremely small turn bet against which I felt minraising had far more value than a "normal" raise size.

well what kind of Tx can u rep after the utg raise ? If he s a good player he wont fold anything here. u pretty much only rep 77 or quads . if hes on the weaker side he will definitly fold JJ/QQ. Not sure if he folds a K

True. That's why I see villain as completely unknown and then the bluff becomes spewy IMO
