Thx all for the RIP's/kind words, definitely was better that he passed on instead of continuing to be miserable in this world. Sucks that I'm so far away but I saw him when I was home for my birthday in March, knowing that he very easily might not make it to Christmas, so we made that time count.

Ah yea, I was just mixing in FTP earlier in the yr to try to get more volume at night, and then more recently to finish off blackcard as I was so close to it and it made my FTP points worth about 33% more to just finish it off. Combine that with the fact that I still have a >4% EV ROI while running really badly, there's still good money to be made if you're good at the games and are willing to mix stakes.

I would love to be able to play 10bb no ante for a living and probably would/could if I wasn't a SNE on PS, it's by far my best game and I think I really understand the adjustments you need to make based on whose to your left/right and how your range shifts in certain spots etc in that format; but can't waste too much time over in those games when I have SNE+ to chase .

Lol was sitting around all cozy just grinding away, and get a message from Apowers1968 that he's coming over cuz he needs to get out for a while. Ends up coming over, and we leave my place maybe about 11pm?....anyway didn't get home til past 7am, seems standard.

Actually was a pretty fun, laxxed night; didnt do anything crazy at all. In fact, went to this spot in Rosa I hadn't been to before and the dude who used to wait on me at Applebees now runs the place with his wife and we had a fun time just drinkin and chillin at that spot.

We ended up making a few other spots before/after that place but not much happened other than some drunk mxn dude pissing on Apowers leg, was truly outrageous lol. Glad I had just stepped into the bathroom as I kept him from killing the guy.

Anyway, haven't opened up HM2 yet, but I think I might have about 1 hour played for the freeroll so far lol, def didn't get many hrs in . Waiting on Ruse to reply to see if he's coming over and wants to get food and whatnot; if not, I still have to go out to make a gas station run + I came home in a car that isn't mine, so have to return that .

Talking to my parents right now on skype; they just got up north to their vacation spot, and then I will be getting on the grind! Hoping to get 5k+ vpps tonight, will still be stopping to study a bunch of spots every hour or so which means I won't get in that efficient of a grind tonight. Have to run an errand late tonight which will also cut into my grind time, but I'm hoping to be back to 8k+ vpps every day once Monday night rolls around.

I read this thread most days, i still don't understand how i get tilted running a few BI's under ev at the $7/$15 husngs..

Sorry to be pessimistic, but say you lose the equivalent to SNE RB playing hypers (fingers crossed you don't), do you expect to have much of a profit from other forms of poker at the end of the year?

Well I'm still hoping to hit 1.75-2mil VPPs so there's still plenty of time to turn the yr around. I'd be in a lot of trouble if this was the end of the yr and I had the VPP count I had with the profit line I had because nah, I lost money this yr at MTT's before agreeing to a buyout with my backer and I don't really play much cash at all (100nl 6m rush on FTP when I do), so not many opportunities to make $'s. Still plenty of time to turn the yr around though, for those of you who read my thread last yr, I struggled mightily until I came back from Vegas and started grinding Merge (~late june iirc) and I made about 180k from then until I went home on the 16th of December.....swings can happen quickkkk!

Thx for the kind words/well wishes everyone both on here and on the tables, much appreciated and it kinda does keep me going. I have those days where I get kinda emo about the DS, yesterday being one of those days. Just gets really demoralizing to grind when you're just getting **** on, but the only way to make it back is to keep going; trying to get better at just putting it behind me and grindingggg.

I was going to play some sides and then the ME, but since my year has been so ****ty, I just decided to skip it. I wouldn't ever want to sell more than 50% of myself for the ME and I just don't have the money for that right now.

Had a good time chillin with King-Nit, l@p, deionsandals, icumirin' today. Ended up getting in a good mixture of volume (2 sessions of >1.5 hours) along with a solid dinner and some drinks + fun. Ended up winning a nice 11 bi's playing Beer Pong tonight, too bad that doesn't quite catch me up to my EV line this yr

I'm gonna head to bed here soon, definitely dunzo on the night with volume as I'm feeling kinda tired right now. I'm going to run some #'s and see what pace would be for 2mil VPPs with off days/vacation later this yr accounted for and decide if I'm going to push for that or not....will report my findings and opinion tomorrow either when I wake up or after I grind.

Ooh, 2mil is gonna be a tough feat to pull off, but I'm going to attempt to give it a go I think. We have 24 full weeks left in the yr and I have 1,279,000 vpps to go, which means I have to get 53,300 vpps/week, or 8884/day if I play 6days a week. Definitely want to start getting ahead of pace so I can hopefully push that # down...probably will be trying to get 9-10k vpp/day most days I grind the rest of this month.

Going to review a couple hands and hopefully get in a session here soon....just got done talking with my Mom on skype, it's her bday today (party).
