I agree... At some tables.. Playing 2-5 in my experience usually half the table are deeper thinking players.. Go along with the masses at the table and your good.
My rule of thumb :
At least 3 players w shades hoodie or headphones ( low table chatting ) or any combo of above.... Hoodie is up and shades come out

So got lucky in a massive hand but pretty much a spot I'm never folding flatted a $50 3 bet in the sb with QQ that somehow went 4 ways to the flop, I checked a AQTcc flop, bb bet 50, utg raised to 200 btn shoves for 250 and says he guesses that he's drawing to a chop so AK always, I have 670ish behind and the pot is already over 700 and utg has me barley covered so I shipped it into his KJ.

In regards to sunglasses, I definitely think there is some value in wearing them. I personally like to converse a lot at the table and don't wear them too often, but I will put them on if I'm playing with a bunch of sickos that may look through my eyes to read my soul. If sunglasses make you feel comfortable, then you should wear them. However, cheap sunglasses are not allowed. $300 minimum.

I wear a brand called gattorz. The entire frame is made of aluminum. Pretty cool.

Also in reference to mr dwan .. Theses are actually siko soul searching blockers. There's no entrance into your mind with these on. Oh and there only like $200 for the polarized ones.

Thanks for the opinions on the sunglasses. I have maybe worn them once at a table ever, whenever I am in a big pot I always just pick a spot right in front of my chip stack and stare at it, lowering my eyes below the bill of my hat.

My routine is usually pop in my headphones (with the music either turned way down or no music at all) for an hour when I first sit down so that I can really concentrate and get a feel for the table dynamics and betting tendencies. Then I will take the headphones off sometimes start chatting up the table, other times just throw the hoodie on and stay in my own world watching everything.

I do see the merit of wearing them tho if its a table full of sickos tho. Gunna look and see if I can find any really sick sunglasses...any suggestions would be great!!
