made a mistake. preflop is 77$ pot that's why i bet 40$, the EP guy didn't call preflop

but ya if i was playing better players or online definitely the ace diamond blocker would apply way more, that went through my head obviously. in this case this guy is pretty fun player don't think he even knows anything about not having A of diamond flush value. he probably sees any flush draw equally strong. That would make a case that I should call, but having said that, discussed with a frd and I think it shoulda been a fold.

At that point the guy hasn't bluffed anything but I haven't seen him play a flush draw either, i guess in his mind flush draw is super strong, my read at the moment was he was super strong. so I woulda only counted flush draw combos with gut shot/ straight draw. I didn't know at that point he would even play T5 that strong, had i known yea i would always call. but without that info I shoulda folded

but i got pretty lucky that was in his range and then my AK holding. most time I think villain just opens set or 2 pair. I really want to make a case I made the right call cause I did win the hand, but not being result oritented but I just dont think it was a good call

recorded a Loss at deerfoot casino. 3bet AA to 60$ and got callers. guy hits a set and has 170$ more on jack high board and paid him off. Got into another spot where I had QQ vs this overly aggro guy who gets it in with JQ etc, he had AA that time and got stacked for 300.
played a quick small tournament and bubbled on 11th out of 75 people. Payout was 8th and that was kinda ****ty. overall down 340$ last night. planning to turn it around today hopefully

Its been a year of progress. Thinking back now this is probably the year i improved the most, mostly mentally. I would say at the beginning of the year my mental game was probably 1/10 and now its 6/10

Still lots to work on and I could always fall backwards but I intend to keep improving. Had a couple more swingy sessions last week. Got food poisioning during christmas week and didnt put in as much hours as i wanted this month but ill take it as a break and make a good push when 2017 comes around. I will start a new thread specifically for 2017 and set some goals also specifically for 2017. Excited for that cause i want to accomplish a few goals next year and if so it'll be a big year.

Gonna grind a couple more session before dec ends and gonna update my monthly summary as my last post on this thread
