Also please don't call people kids. I'm older than you and more qualified than you to talk about variance. I also like you as a person on the whole, if you'd like me to not comment in your threads I won't.
It was intended to come across exactly as it did. I do have an idea of my expectation. Yes I am a good player. Right, because I've been running good my entire poker career. You state in one sentence I'm a good player, then in the next basically say I'm just lucky/lazy despite likely studying more than most people. This was my first year as a "pro" and I had no intention of grinding 8 hours/day every day to begin with because I don't need to. Work to live don't live to work.
I called you a kid to hurt your feelings as I'm tired of every other post from people saying I don't understand variance, that I'm on a life heater, etc. obviously just needles from the internet trolls, though. The fact of the matter is it's pretty unlikely many of us truly understand how bad poker variance can get, but that does not mean that I did not run poorly over my last 100k hands which is just a statement. It does not mean that I can't run worse or anything like that.
From my perspective it seems as though people take my posts and interpret them in a way that is unintended. Welcome to the internet.
For everyone who thinks I suck or am overly emotional -- whatever, just watch me crush *AGAIN* in 2019 and when I'm done with poker I'll continue to crush in life also.
