Had a fun weekend with family eating nice food, watching films and taking it easy. Played 2 sessions this evening. First went bad, second went really well.
had this hand hu. what're peoples thoughts? actually the grimmest spot ever:
Obviously fired some timbeys today but busted them all in horrendous fashion. When will i learn...? Speaking of tournies, i'm ~95% in for UKIPT next month if anyone is around. I know that deepz, blakkman, gazzy(?) smb, mayo, D7, JVL, jakdarippa, dccnesquick and a few others that i can't remember off the top of my head are going to be playing. We all live really close together (uk crew) so there'll be many a game of thrice running and i'm sure several meals over the tournament. Please feel free to message me here on on skype if you wanna meet up with us! The dates are 5-10th of April
Definitely on the grind tomorrow. it's a bank holiday so i have high hopes for game quality!
Just finished watching season 1 of Fargo too. It's refreshing to see something a little different - the dark comedy makes it pretty unique. I haven't seen the film, anyone have any thoughts on it?

Probably just skimmed over some decent poker content but I'll post on Fargo instead lol. Film better then the series IMO but really enjoyed both. Think the film is on Netflix (or at least it was) and would def recommend. Not seen season 2 yet but it's on my list.
assuming that someone leading this turn with this sizing is relatively competent makes me think this is always a call with the A4. against bad reg randomly leading I fold and against fish I call.
A4 is a really interesting one. I do think it should be a pretty good call against anyone but the biggest nits, and even vs them they prob start out river betting themselves a lot, so the river xr looks kinda bluffy to me. But yeah, would be nice knowing more about type of villain.

yeah it's hard to gauge as i havent really played them much at all.

This was what i thought too. I didn't actually think about it long at all before calling
Results: He had 64

haha, dw the poker content is a waste of your time anyway Started season 2 yesterday and i'm finding it very hard to get into after being quite emotionally invested in the other character. To suddenly have a whole new cast is weird! I'll 100% check out the film too, cheers!

Funnily enough I too just finished Fargo S1 other night really enjoyed, but always felt so ambivalent on Martin Freeman playing a Minnesotan.
Might pop down to punt in the UKIPT too
haha, i actually really warmed to him. God the canadian accent is amazing, 'yahhhhh'. Definitely come say hi!

River: ($966.60) K (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG bets $806.04 and is all-in, Hero calls $677.80 and is all-in, BB folds
Spoiler:
Results: $2,322.20 pot ($3 rake)
Final Board: 8 9 9 5 K
Hero showed 8 8 and won $2,319.20 ($1,319.20 net)
BB mucked and lost (-$322.20 net)
UTG showed J T and lost (-$1,000 net)
There are a million other hands i could post but that'll do. Month is looking good now, let's just close it out nicely and not have a spectacular downswing in the last 3 days!
lol says reg, then said reg is seen opening qjo utg 6max. bauss
haha, they're a reg, i promise. Although i haven't played much with them.

Had a standard busy tuesday seeing 3 clients, 2 hours of supervision, 2 hours of poker and then watched the england game. Shame to see such an underwhelming performance after last game.
how many tables u play at once aslo you play reg speeds mostly right?
Nowadays i play no more than 14. The games have become so much tougher that you can't autopilot and turn a good profit. I play regular speed only, the turbo tables are just too stressful!

Had a solid day at the tables. Feel like i'm playing and running very well too. One of the main things i want to work on next month is sizings in various spots. When i'm chatting hands with the guys i'm finding that they're telling me i'm sizing poorly. Of course this is nitpicking but i obviously wanna be playing the highest EV poker possible. Certainly something to think about wrt to my goals.
Last day of the month tomorrow which i'm pumped for. We crushed another team 8-1 tonight. Next week we're playing the only team that could challenge us for another title so i'm excited for that!
I cannot wait to take your roll off you playing thrice

Short session today as i'm making my last coaching video (enjoy tim) and then got football tonight. Had a good fish at 1k nl and also had a reg bluff it all off to me as the game was breaking.
