GL been following this thread from the beginning, but as for the KK hand I think against the CO range you can find a fold here. I agree it is certainly a must bet but if he is indeed a fish wouldn't he call if he most likely call if he was on a draw? smells more like value shove than anything else but honestly I'd probably play it the same way if I were you.
Yeh this part tears me apart too, that's why I'm not entirely sure.
Thanks for following tho

vs same villain. Got slowrolled for like a minute so maybe he's not that good...
lololololololol this month is so so so sOOOOOOOO sick
So at first I improved my 2nd best day, then my best day, then tried out for the first time HSNL and experienced biggest downswing in any period of time ever and on top of all that I just had my new best day at 10k!
Assuming I dont screw up tomorrow (as I wont be playing anymore afterwards) this is my new best month beating the last month by ~3k.

vs solid reg who's used to playing deep and also plays higher. Not really happy with my play and tbh sort of lost throughout the hand. It shouldnt be terrible I think...
What did you change to move up from NL50 to higher stakes?
What do you think is the biggest difference? Or what learning process did you do?
Thx and gl
Meh, I doubt it's anything special from what others say - pretty much put more efforts into the game and also while away from the tables - think more, analyse more and all that stuff. The more you practice the better/quicker you perform all of that in-game. The hard part is actually starting doing all this...
Couple things that might've been specific for me is that I never wanted to be an average FR nit (or nit at all for that matter ), like I was at some points even obsessed with gaining edges over other regs which might've motivated to put more efforts into learning process even more. Of course there's also safe BRM allowing to spew some chips around just because you think it's the right play - you just gotta learn this at some point. Investing some $$ into coaches wasnt a bad idea either.
DING DING DING! 20k month, my new record is here! I even insta quit session once I got couple hundreds above 20k, yea I know, Im a pussy Anyway, Im done for the month. Some results:
Total hours played 78, total hands played 51k. Off-table work was slow this month, only had like 5 or 6 while the plan was to reach 20... Meh, at least made twice the $$ I wanted to
Awesome comeback Tobe. Must feel very nice. Very well done and best of luck for the rest of the year.
Ou ye, it feels soooo great!!

Dont really know your SN so cant tell, but might be. I made some shots at 6-max when I was playing 50NL I think but fully converted only when I was mixing 100 and 200NL at the last months of 2012. Tbh was one of the best choices Ive ever made in poker.
Im curious who did you get coaching from and if your experience was positive, also how many hours do you think is the minimum someone should get (assuming the guys good and you feel like he might teach you a thing or two..)?

I had like 5 coaches and I wont lie - 3 of them were pretty disappointing. But actually my bigger break-through in poker happened when I started working with the other 2 guys (up to this day I pm them now and then). During the autumn in 2012 I think within a month I started working with both of them. One of them was my first HU coach - StakeMonster. And the other one is ATOTHEC - a deep tables specialist that likes bluffing/spewing/not giving edges anyway, playing rags 3-handed and well pretty much everything Im doing currently. Also his out of the box thinking was just stunning during the first sessions.
I've paid for about 15hrs in total to both of them and I really dont regret a single penny. I've only got good words about both of them - they pretty much made me the player I am today.
I think no one should ever take at first more than 1 hour. Some coaches just dont fit you - at least from my experience. I remember couple of coaches I had just didnt provide me with any value at all while their posts at 2p2 were awesome. Dont know how it works but this seems to be true to more than me. Buuuut, if it fits you - keep getting it till you think you're gaining value.
Hey man. Just found this thread, cant believe I didnt see it before as I always lurk PGC. Anyways, Its one of the thread wich Ive had more fun going trough the hand histories!
gl man and keep crushing
oh, if you could give me the contact of those 2 coaches you mentiones you like by PM would be great, Im currently looking for a coach, I have Matthew Janda who will teach me theory, but I also want someone good with dynamics, etc! Id really apreciate it!
