updates?

Been lazy updating but have a min so figured I'd throw in a little! Online has been going okay, I'm sitting at a little over 1k profit at 50/100nl over liflke 8k hands, very small sample but I don't get too much time to play. I was playing zone at work but decided that to be -ev so haven't in a few weeks. I was able to play a session of live cash last night that turned into no limit Omaha! Not very fond of the game but everyone was wanting to play so I ended up agreeing. It went very well and had a +330 night! So far I'm 5/5 in this game for a total profit of 1455 over 28 hours. Obviously not sustainable but hope to ride out this upswing as long as possible as I'm not yet roll for live 200nl. I know I need to get some graphs up for you guys so hopefully I can get that done Monday! Well back to work, 36 hours left this weekend, hope it flies by! Goodluck to anyone grinding this weekend!

I'm terrible at updating these things but wanted to shoot an update. Haven't played too much but have some results. Planning on getting in a lot of volume until Saturday (on vacation right now). Here you go!

(Obv very small sample but running well! Plus the game is extremely soft. I have no doubt I can beat this game for ~20 hr...)

Made an even $400 last night. Overall happy with my play although I made a couple questionable calls... Having an extremely solid week live and had a 6+ bi day at 100nl online the other day! Really nice having a job right now so I can turn all of my winnings into "inventory" instead of needing it for irl expenses! This thread is about to come alive!!! A lot has happened since my last post... I have had about another 1.5k in winnings live (1/2) and another 1k or so at 50nl/100nl/200nl online and drumroll pleaseeeee! I took down the $215 40k on bovada for 12.6k. It was a surreal experience and my first 5 figure score! Since then, I quit my job. I had a trip planned next week to the SHRPO in Hollywood, Fl for the last few months and I booked way ahead of time. Currently I have about 20k saved up and the plan is to check out a few spots in SoFl next week while I'm there and make the move ~Sept 8th! Pretty stoked to take my shot at live poker. After I set aside side some living expenses I'll be very comfortably roll for 1/2 and will have the roll to play conservatively at 2/5. The plan is to start at 1/2 or 1/3 for the first month or so and get my feet wet. If the bankroll is looking good I'll def be moving to 2/5 shortly after I move. I want to wait on some hands to update in database before posting graphs so I'll do that in a day or so. Just had a great 1/2 session! I'll have graphs updated soon. GL everyone!

Hand 1:



-This guy is a reg with a pretty high 3b of 9.0. I'm thinking it's ok to peel with KJs (what do you guys think?) As for flop its very dry and I flop huge so just call. Only question I have about this hand is the river... Should I be jamming here or just going for a smallish value bet? After villain calls the turn I think I can get value from him on riv, don't think he has a draw after calling turn unless its specifically AsTs, AsQs... Please lmk what you think about hand!

Hand 2:



-Not much to say here. I just think the HUGE overbet on river only works out like 2% of the time. Guy was a fish so I thought I could get entire stack from the exact hand he had. Thoughts?

Hand 3:



-Now this hand is questionable... After reviewing the hand I think the way I played it is very -EV. I just don't think he shows up with a bluff very often here. Probably should have folded riv... Thoughts?

Heading down to SoFl Monday for the SHRPO and I'm extremely excited! On another note, I will def be working on managing my expenses better after this series, on and off the felt! This series isn't the best ev decision with my current bankroll so will probably be the last MTT I play until my bankroll is a little more cushioned! Playing a little live 200nl tonight! Mid session right now playing live. Up a little and feel like I'm playing really solid. I've noticed one huge leak in my game. When the game starts to die down, I play more hands trying to force profit, whether up or down... I'm going to practice noticing when this is happening and fixing the issue.

About to crash but ended up +175 tonight. Could have been a bigger win, was +400 at one point. Don't think it was bad play, just hit a streak of negative variance. Overall I think tonight's play was solid. I need to start taking notes so I can post hands... Not sure what tomorrows plans are, may grind online. Leaving for FL in 27 hours!

Thanks! Quick update... I'm leaving FL in just a few hours but I had a great trip! Min cashed in the $560 Million, sick beat for around 600k chips but oh well... The cash games went very well! I played 2/5 all week and came out a pretty nice winner and put in a ton on hours! I was suppose to meet up with Yolotheory from 2p2 but never got the chance to meet up which sucks but def next time! I'll give a more thorough update when I get home tomorrow!
