In other news, since i got this computer virus (or at least I've only noticed it since then) and had to make a new user account my computer has been playing up a bit. It's a decent pc: i5-3570k, 12GB RAM, SSD. But every now and then it will seem like one program or everything freezes for about 5-20 seconds, and sometimes it sounds like my processor is working really hard when i'm actually not doing a ton of things.

Does anyone know what this could be? Like sometimes Stars just freezes for like 20 secs while all other programs and internet sites work, and sometimes it lags a lot or freezes on a web page etc or HEM.

How do I go about fixing a random access memory hog?

I just ran a memory diagnostic and came back with no errors, any other opinions greatly appreciated.....

You might still have a virus, some viruses mine bit-coins which uses all your processing power. Try a program like http://www.malwarebytes.org/ (also dl the rootkit scanner) to get rid of it. Also don't play poker on a pc that is compromised.

Or maybe it's a driver issue, or maybe something else altogether. How the hell should I know

Try maybe using CCleaner to clean all kind of **** you may had on computer, it helped me several times.

Deffo not going for it next year, i do really want to attempt it at some point but right now I've learnt my lesson. I started this year with what was by faarrrrrrr the biggest downswing I've ever had and that certainly wasn't only runbad. I don't multi-table very well and i won't be trying SNE again until i'm playing at least 600nl-1knl.

Soooo i got some pretty sick news earlier, i mentioned a while back that i was possibly buying one of my Dads many cars off him his Mazda Rx7 Well he paid like £4k for it (which was a bargain because the cheapest i can find online atm is £5.5k) well i asked him today how much he wants for it and he said i can have it for £1k and that includes the new wheels he just bought for £500 So i will be driving this wonderful piece of Japanese metal around soon:



Wrt to poker it's been going ok i guess, i'm up like $1.8k for the month but over EV I feel like I've been running pretty badly since i moved up to 400nl which is completely standard because i have always ran bad literally 100% of the time on my first attempt to move up each limit without exception.

I also haven't been playing my best, this is pretty much always only when i play too many tables though, i'm fine with 9 but when i get up to like 11/12 things get hectic haha I know Tobe for one wasn't impressed with some of my plays earlier

It's good and bad at the same time that it found 12 'things' (depending on the seriousness of the 'things'). The software doesn't guarantee that it finds everything.
Did you try both programs? if not, please do so.
I would go full tinfoil if malwarebytes found 14 'things' on my pc, but I might be a little paranoid.
