It's not quite as breathtaking as i was hoping was for, i think I've been spoilt these last few years by the awesome quality of my 2 27" monitors tbh.

A few pictures and comparisons, sorry for the terrible quality

30" Side by side with a 27" obligatory Gengar background

Spoiler:

Side by side again with 6 default tables on each:

Spoiler:

9 tiled on the 30"

Spoiler:

9 of the same size on the 27"

Spoiler:

12 tiled on my current set-up:

Spoiler:

I have another 20" to go on the left hand side but my desk is nowhere big enough to fit Will have to look into this problem next few days, due an upgrade anyway

Overall the 30" is much larger than i thought it would be, and it's quite a lot bigger than the 27" tbh. There are things i prefer about each monitor though, the blacks and white's on the 27" are much crisper and everything seems a little tighter on those screens which is nice (I think this is because of the glossy screen vs the 30"'s matte screen and also the slightly higher pixels/inch)

The thing i prefer about the 30" is it's size obvs and being able to fit more tables comfortably with my HUD on one screen, also the fact that it's a matte screen means i get waaayy less reflection from external light. The colours are also excellent and probably better than the 27" with the exception of blacks and white's imo.

Not sure if i'm going to buy another 30" immediately or buy a new desk first and run 20+30+20 for a while and see if i like it Time will tell i guess

Really enjoy reading here.

Your new set up looks good.

Gotta say this gave me a laugh, "Overall the 30" is much larger than i thought it would be, and it's quite a lot bigger than the 27" tbh."
Is the 30" bigger than 30" and is it more than 3" bigger than the 27"?

Just teasing you.

Good luck and keep up the good work.

I think they measure 30" diagonally.
I've never heard of the brand of the 30" monitor. Is it the same resolution as the 27" or higher?

When ur quoting these numbers of tables i presume u mean ZOOM right? Have u tried 8-tabling ZOOM before? and at these stakes do you think you would be able to break-even doing this for mass hours? 35 hours probably won't get u close to SNE pace, it's certainly not impossible, but it's VERY VERY VERY hard probably didn't even stress the VERY enough then tbh.

You have to have a certain skill that i thought i had but turns out i don't, or at least i hadn't developed it enough by then. You'll have massive swings grinding what i presume would be a tiny winrate i mean i lost $16k in Jan and Feb at the tables pre rakeback and ran 10-11k below EV so u have to be mentally ready for that **** cus it'll get ya But best of luck anyway if u have other questions feel free to ask, i would say u wanna be at 500nl before trying SNE if u wanna play ZOOM fwiw or at least mixing it in.

Haha, well....What i meant was 3"s doesn't sounds like a lot when u already have 27". I mean if u have only have 3" to start with then an extra 3" is life changing but i just didn't think it would make that much difference here.

But yes i agree it does sound funny

You must be a shortstacker bro i hear they only get 40% of what most men play with

Yeah it's measured diagonally 30", i found it on Ebay imported from Korea, i would have been skeptical about buying it but i imported my last 2 monitors from Korea and they were the best quality i had ever seen so i wasn't put off. And this one is great too, the model is the Activa Shimian QH300-ipsms

And the resolution is higher than the 27", this is basically the only reason i upgraded as it means i can now tile 9 tables on one screen and still read my HUD, whereas i can't do this on my 27" without a lot of overlap.

Resolution on the 30" is 2560x1600 compared to 2560x1440 doesn't sound like a lot but makes a reasonable difference with poker tables.

Didn't get any import duty either which was a massive bonus!!

You don't look like an online poker player, you look like you should be working as a model/male escort/fitness instructor/personal trainer/something like that
