Pretty easy to tell which girls are prostitutes.

Its interesting that we're in a pretty similar situation. I graduated last year and also play 5/10 in Vegas. I mostly play at Aria since my box is there but also dabble at Wynn and B. I'm sure we've sat together at some point this summer.

I'm originally from NY and will currently be here until likely the end of October with the WPT coming up at borgata next month. However, I "live" in my boy's crib in Summerlin. I pay rent and car/ins. payments for my place and car which I don't use for a decent portion of the year. Living expenses are relatively minimal in Vegas compared to other cities that I'm content with just eating the loss.

As I was reading the later portion of the thread, I was selfishly hoping that you would choose LA for the sake of my bottom line but this is an awesome story. I'd love to introduce myself and have some beers with you when I get back to Vegas.

Its safe to say that I'm subbed.

PS. keep us posted on how the Vegas games are... best of luck
Awesome, seems like we have similar ideas about the poker player / las vegas lifestyle. Let me know when you're back out here, would like to grab some beers and talk poker + life

Welcome back! I'm usually just wrapped up in doing whatever the **** I feel like at the moment and running into girls. They are everywhere.... just take notice of one you like and talk. I'm not so much into the nightclub scene, but in all fairness I've never gone to one. The 2 hour line would be a better place to meet girls than in the club. I'll experiment next time i'm at the B poker room on a Bank night.

And the concern about prostitute thing is ridiculous. Come on man, how can you be concerned about this. I can't imagine there being a miss-communication outside the plot of a mediocre comedy show

Typical friday so far. Wynn 5T is actually kind of slow. Taking it easy for a bit practicing some fundamentals at 2/5.

Was asking about Vegas in general. I wasn't asking about Vegas poker. Just wondering how busy/hectic Vegas would be this weekend.

Welcome and good luck! It's a pretty amazing lifestyle, but it can be grueling at times. Things like this are possible:

Not planning on playing games with double digit big blinds any time soon, but good to know. Definitely a reminder to have a solid roll under me. What app is that? I'm using Pokermanager right now on my android

Bellagio games are significantly softer at 5T, seems dumb to blow your brains out at the Wynn while down swinging

Agreed, but wynn has higher end profit potential. I'll probably be playing a mix of 2/5 and bellagio 5T for a bit while I look for an apartment and grind back up a bit. Time for VOLUME

I'll do a 2/5+ stakes volume bet for October, or a how many beers can you drink in the wynn 1/3 game over a session

Also, I'm not sure which is the bigger game or which has higher profit margin: bellagio 5/T or wynn 2/5. It's definately close

Can't ****ing sleep so grabbing some breakfast at Peppermill. Finally booked a W, cashed out $4,046 from the Wynn 2/5 (bought in for 1.5k) I really like the game. 300bb deep, $4/hand rake, good environment, relaxing. I'd estimate my winrate to be around $75/hr which is not too far off of 5/T winrates, but with significantly less variance. Putting in some hours tomorrow and I'll write up a review of the poker abomination that was the month of August
