This. Ephedrine hcl is great. It's cheap, sold otc at walgreens and has few if any side effects. It's thermogenic properties are great for cold poker rooms as well.

Thanks for all the good words people! Put ephedrine hcl on the experiment list and Lila AIIM on the Reading list. Took 200mg modafinil after waking up at 1:00PM. So far I've taken care of a lot of routine stuff, Weight lifted, Bought supplements, cooked breakfast, went to the bank (took forever) etc. I've noticed more inspiration to get things done in alignment with long term goals. The blue lighting and murals on the wall of my gym appeared to stand out more than usual. However, I noticed a lot more impatience when in line at the bank and in traffic. To counter this I find something to fill dead time. Sitting at a traffic light for about a minute, I was so bored that I took out my phone and read 2+2.

I finally had a winning session last night! $2.3k in 7 hours at the Rio. I found the modafinil to be pretty mild, and I was tired enough at 2am that I drank a red bull. I took today's 200mg dose about 20 minutes ago, after hitting the gym this time so that it's peak will be during tonight's session. My gym is awesome and the desk girl Maria is super hot. I taped 6 garbage bags together and covered my window. I mean sealed the thing so no light comes in. It's important to sleep well and in complete darkness; I time my sessions so that I often go to sleep while the sun rises.

Our 5th Housemate Rob arrived from England today. Seems like a chill dude, will have to get the house out to drink together soon.

I'm not sure how it varies by dose, I would estimate 5-10 hours for 200mg

half-life of a drug usually refers to the time it takes for it's activity to drop by 50%, or it's concentration in blood plasma to drop by 50%. I usually think the first definition is more useful. Erowid states 20-60 minute onset. I'm not sure from experiment because it's effects are very subtle. Not sure how much/pill, my friend bought this batch.

It's not like he's crushing it to gack it up his nose in the toilet. He's trying a FDA approved nootropic. I realize that adverse effects are possible, but nothing that isn't managable; he can sleep it off.

Today I lost $33 at the wynn 1/3, won $483 at 2/5, and won $1628 at 5/10. Now I'm playing 5/T at rio with 1 decent player, 1 drunk, 4 morons, and 1 Asian businessman who bought in with a $5k brick. Headphones on and hoodie up.
