Wasn't my day. Couldn't get much going, tried one X/R bluff with a naked Q hi FD and ran into a lower FD but he had a pair that tripped up on the turn. Fortunately I didn't put any more chips in after the flop but after that hand I was handcuffed a bit. Then shoved 15bb with AQhh and couldn't win the flip vs 55.

Feels good to get my first WSOP cash out of the way as it was one of my goals this summer.

A conversation about little league came up at the table and I said "Kirk, you were probably the kid who hit the ball and ran to third base." I'd have too much fun commentating on a game that a bunch of us were playing.

Thanks. Slightly bigger than a min. $225>$515. I don't love the hand but I'm just glad I actually got to put money in a pot after folding garbage for an hour and a half.

Agree his bet was bad. I didn't think he wanted put a lot of money in the pot so I was going to blast big if he checked river and make it a tough hero call for him. Once he made that smallish river bet I wasn't sure if jamming or making it a valuey size would be better, decided he'd fold to both so went smaller.

Lol no need to worry. Most of my profit this trip, with the exception of that goat $5/10 hand you guys walked in on, has come from no pair bluffs. Glad you enjoyed it. Also remind me to give you $$ when I see you cause I have awful short term memory and keep forgetting.
