Lost out on alot of value in some spots but minimized damage in others so felt I played ok!

Flatted pre as had no info on player and him raising there vs my utg raise seemed strong. He made it small pre, which I thought at the time might have been to intice me to come over the top but I figured flatting for that price and folding on boards with overrcards was the right play, otherwise if he showed alot of strenght I was probably mucking

This hand was pretty strange, he had 3b 3 times out of 4, and 2 of those was against me. Didn't see any showdown hands from him didnt know his post flop tendencies, maybe 4betting would have been better but decided to ship going on what I thought was a lagtard, obv he showed aces and I sucked out.

This hand villian is a super aggro from what I seen, flatted flop to keep all his bluffs in hoping he will barrell, planned on c/r turn but when he bets 30 it looks like hes trying to induce a bluff and I haven't seen him do that after 100 hands or so, decided to flat and play cautious, river is meh so c/c'd but its probably a b/f spot

Played another small session there for an hour 8 tabling, just a couple of hands

This hand was bizarre, the villian seemed like a tight reg and the only hand I could think of at the time was Jc10c for some weird combo draw on the flop. I wasn't expecting him to lead that often here with all his range because the BB is a whale and pots every flop thats checked to him, my plan was too check my set into him, when villian leads I think flatting is pretty standard, for him to get that aggro with total air is really strange, he did pick up a gutter on the turn. If he haden't of raised so much it would have been a harder decision, definately thought he had a worse set

This hand was a little more interesting I guess, villian was loose but not out of control, he was trying to isolate the fish with a raise and I think flatting 1010 is standard. On the turn decided to call and was calling any bet that wasnt a club or overpair on the river, put him on 2 overs with a big club which is what he had.

Overall happy with my play, playing solid advoiding trying to outplay regs ( for the most part ) and just focusing on solid winning poker. Will need to up the aggression but for now @ 10nl its good enough. Up 12 buyins in 6K~ hands or so, so can't complain.

Overall happy with my play. A problem im finding is that when I know villians have 2nd pair I'm happy to check down to the river and let them take it all the time. I need to up my aggression vs regs who are capable of folding in certain spots, and still be happy to let the fish take small pots when I miss. Im picking up alot of free money in small pots with air multiway but need to stop being a puss and do it to regs hu too. So yeah thats the next step to improving my game @ 10nl

Edit: Another thing I need to improve is my bet sizing for value, I find myself trying to force villians into calling instead of just going for fat value

For now I'm very happy with how things are goin, im up 17 buyins since I started this thread but I won't fool myself into thinking its easy, I have alot of things to improve on and get as sharp as I was before. Thanks for reading

Ok, so haven't played on stars in a few days. I got a bonus offer from party poker and grinded that out instead, I've withdrawn 45$ from there and put it into my main bankroll. Bit of a wild weekend, alcohol fueled, thankfully had the control not to go near poker while drunk etc

Played an hour session and for the first time since I started this challenge found myself tilting, I think I played really bad but I got lucky in a big hand and managed to finish up 7.67 ( AK vs KJ pre, bvb flop KJx bet,raise,4bet,5bet shove, turn A vs an unknown )

I might post some hands tonight but really not happy with my play so might just go over the hands from that session and cut out the crap, I feel hungover so maybe that's an excuse I can use lol.

Alright Posting an update, the last few days have been a complete mindfcuk outside of poker but getting back into the groove again. Played a small session tonight and got into some really good spots for me PF, once vs a reg where my AA>KK and vs an unknown when he got it in pre with QQ.



Here's an interesting hand I think. Pretty bad river card - Villian is 16/14 only over 100 hands or so, his bb steal is low, 17 and he isn't aggro. No reads. Thought's on turn sizing? A10hh makes alot of sense but wouldn't most people try get that in on the flop? KJHH is another possible combo. Can't do anything except fold vs a relative unknown I guess
