It seems completely plausible to me that he'd float the flop with air vs the small bet and then bluff jam the turn. Or thin value shove low pairs to protect vs ~AK.

I honestly am not sure what the optimal line is, but am open to opinions.

What do you think about checking the river with KK? Could that be a thing?
I guess I don't know... but I'd imagine he'd have a lot of pp, maybe some broadways/AX.. I don't expect him to bluff turn when x to very often and would expect most of his pairs to always call a jam. You also run into fish just calling the turn with hands like AQ high non-zero amt also.

I wouldn't have included j7o in his range though, so there is that.

The more he bluffs or jams his pp when x to the more reasonable it is to x turn, but I'd imagine turn x freq here is quite high personally. 18bb 3b pre was pretty large and turn is ~1spr.

Yeah, but they can also underfold turns vs a barrel. This makes these spots pretty tricky (even in SRP).

I'm aware of that
They also don't raise enough, which makes it even more of a range bet.

May 2024:

Challenge progress: 76k/100k

I didn't have time to play a lot of poker this month due to various wedding preparations, birthdays and practices for the first dance. My goal for June is to play 50k+ hands and make at least 2k profit from poker.

I ended up buying a 1000€ suit. There were probably cheaper options, but I liked this one:

Challenge progress: 77.8k/100k

Didn't play much recently due to a bunch of IRL stuff.

Next month my goal will be to play 30k hands in the 1st half. Afterwards I'll have a 2 week honeymoon vacation.

How's the married life going?

What's the plan for honeymoon?

^ The married life is surprisingly similar to the life before marriage

The wedding was really fun. Truly a once in a lifetime experience.

For honeymoon we're going to Maldives. It's gonna cost ~5000€, but will hopefully be worth it.

Yes, married life is no different. The big change is when you end up getting some kids.

Sounds great! Take pictures to share with us.
