Skiing
squid has been out every day thus far
he has been going out very early and has been starting to let his skis run a bit more. This means larger radius non speed checking type of skiing on the limited terrain that is available
he has numerous runs above 60mph (gps verified)
he is doing this on his short skis
he believes that if he had some longer hard charging big line skis that 85+ mph is probable
he also believes that 70+mph should be a non issue on his short (180 cm) skis once some slightly steeper terrain is available
TY, that helps. IT also sounds dangerously fast.

My buddies love their Traegers, the pellet ones are a huge ****ing mess so I'll be buying electric when in upgrade.

BGE is one of the best smokers you can buy if you want to play with fire and charcoal.

Traeger is shitty costco-grade sheet metal, and generally don't last very long. If you want a pellet cooker look at Yoder brand.

I'd avoid any electric or propane smoker but they're useful for keeping smudges off your white belts.

Lots of people like the Big Green Egg. If you don't mind the charcoal clean up then do it. Personally if I was still charcoal/stick smoking and didn't want to blow my roll I still think Weber Smokey Mountain is a hard one to beat. You can also get a fan setup to have auto temp control.

Traeger I think is still on par with your mid range pellet smokers and they haven't lost much quality over the years if at all, but there are many competing brands on the market now that offer the same or more. I'd point you in the direction of Camp Chef if you go pellet though and want a real grill you can still use. You can get a Slide N Grill model and have some direct flame high temp grilling (500F).. or you get a sidekick accessory that attaches to it along with the bbq box and you can grill/sear on that. I have seen it reach temps of ~900F, and very common to see it hit in the 700's. Perfect for finishing off a steak.

If you want a med/higher end pellet grill for home use... Recteq (or Rec Tec) all the way.

I've looked at some other high end pellet smokers (more expensive than Recteq), but I didn't really see any glaring upgrades that made it worth more.

Honorable mention: Green Mountain Grill

If you go pellet grill make sure the controller you get on yours is PID. I think pretty much every company runs PID now, but there are still a couple stragglers. WiFi is pretty much standard now too.

SIAP, my lease says "no barbecuing on the patio." I penciled in above it "grilling is allowed." Due to Covid I signed the renewal lease and put it into the rent drop where I'm sure the office ladies didn't read anything beyond the first page.

A week later they put out another notice on our doors, this time using bold faced type to say all grills must be removed from the patio.

This could land me in front of a judge. I would hope any qualified judge in this part of the country knows the difference between a bbq vs grill. Unfortunately most of them are landlords themselves.

I wonder if GG got his iPod most played 2020 report today like Spotify people did?

I did not.

We could play a rousing game of "guess what song GG added to his iPod last" although that might be too difficult (although getting artist would likely be easy).

Dear Mr. Dream Crusher,

This is no no way a slight towards the work you have done in the past as it has in fact been excellent. At the present moment Mr. Spyutastic is in fact doing some incredibly noble work in BS's thread. I am simply poasting up here to thank him for his posting in said thread.

Kudos sir.
