my biggest pet peeve is when poker players say they lost x or made x. You did not make that. You friggin won it. At the end of they year you can say how much you made. I still call it won tho. I did nothing regarding my home. I got sick lucky and won a pile

Haha yea you beat that habit out of me after like a month of playing at the V. Stuck with me. Every time I want to say "made" now I hear you saying "you mean you won" in the back of my head

I was tested on Friday morning. Results supposed to be had in 3 days but I heard there could be a testing backlog delay so could be a day or two longer.

That’s why the core reasons for home owning imo are

Privacy
Not sharing a wall with neighbors
Doing whatever you like to your home within zoning laws
Owning as an investment is the bottom of the list for me

According to Zillow I’m up 350k in 7 years

1. I don’t believe it
2. If it happens to be true, that just means the next home we buy will likely have appreciated just as much and will get rolled in / I’ll be in the same spot
