For a guy who says he has the mental fortitude to get to high stakes in a few years and crush, he sure is sensitive about getting told the truth. Even when that truth is awesome advice which he will in turn completely ignore.

I feel bad for Rob typing all that out for nothing.
Every once in a while I try to be serious and either help someone or better myself

Now it’s back to shitposting in here

You’re nothing without sabr

You’re like the joker who only derives motivation from trying to kill Batman. He's purposeless otherwise.

I have a lot of newfound respect for robin after Batman was looking to him for some sort of reassurance.

Robin told Batman that it’s ok for the joker to question Batman saying he could fly and turn invisible. Batman doesn’t have those powers

Deliberately putting other people's lives at risk when you have covid symptoms during a covid pandemic should be a felony. I'm not saying arrest people just for having covid symptoms in public, but if it can be proven that it was a deliberate act then hell yeah it should be a felony.

That really pissed me off.

it's not great man.

i hate all this ****. I live alone, im young(ish), healthy and have a lot of things I feel are necessary to my well-being that others might not see that way, the gym being one.

that said I'd quarantine in a second if i ever expressed symptoms or tested positive. its just common sense

Meat takes seem to be correlated with film tastes. Those who want a fatty of beef barely cooked in butter also prefer an A list actor talking very profoundly.

I'd say unsalted beef < unsalted turkey.

siap: how many ST sequels have you seen/heard of?

I dragged a few friends to see The Ring again, albeit in a $5 second run theater.

Is this a bad time to mention a 90s sitcom a family member likes?

I've heard of and unfortunately watched 2 and 3. But I think there was even a 4th.

They got weirder and worse with each passing minute. I remember one like spontaneously turned into some religious movie halfway through.

The one where the telepaths worshipped the ancient nuclear bomb was my least favorite in the series.

And with that very very very dated reference that few will recognize I'll just see my way out now.

PSA, there’s a new podcast series in the Ringer called Gamblers. In depth story/interviews with interesting people from the world of gambling

Episode 1 was a pool hustler and was vvg. Viffer figures in the best story. Next up is a gin rummy guy and who knows from there

Was a very enjoyable listen

What if you had very slight symptoms and matched with a 10 on Thailadyboys.com? Would you allow them to quarantine with you?

I hate both the choice and the execution. The choice wouldn't be so bad if it weren't pretending to be based on Heinlein's book, but the execution was ham-handed enough that it would still be a dumpster fire of a movie.

Surprised that Boondock Saints was straight to video. The Animatrix was very good as well.

Hey Rob - that was a fantastic poast you made in rtp's thread. I believe someone will read it other than him and it will resonate so it will not be wasted on deaf ears.

Truly mindblowing how fcuking stoopid and selfish people can be during these times. Really sad.

I still have all my tapes (I prolly switched to CD in mid-late 90s?) and am kinda curious as to whether they still work. Still have a walkman stored away somewhere.

My expression as I read the critiques of Starship Troopers. I can definitely understand the dissonance between the book and the movie, but PV created a masterpiece.

Thanks yo.

I’ve told you probably a dozen times but I learned a lot of that from you.

I’m of the controversial opinion that if you crumble over some people leaving you messages on an Internet forum, you’re probably not cut out for high stakes poker.

If you think “stay at home when you have corona” is bad and insulting and causes a ragequit, spend an afternoon at the commerce.

People there might be a little bit meaner than the PGC posters
